Anyone watching them play the Cats now.... :help
We don't have a chance if we play like today with the same group we will get smashed by 60+....,
Must get some new blood in.
-
Cloke will have his most prolific game of the year two years running.
-
watching how slick and surehanded both sides are in defence under pressure - big difference in quality compared to todays game
-
Must win game
-
No chance

Correct. A 12 point game Chucky! :thumbsup

What's a must loose game?
The exact way we play!!!
-
we will get pumped, the lose the next 3 after that and the season is over
so much for an "easy" draw, no game is easy , especially when we have a monkeys ahole as a coach
a basket case structure
and pathetic game plan
teams all know we are mentally and physically weak , play us man on man are we are dead
-
This game will either make or break our season I reckon. Lose and we will loose the following 3. Win and we may stand a chance.
-
Thank god I am away for 2 weeks
Our season Is about to get worse next week

Scary thing is we will likely beat the Pies and then lose against the Lions the following week
Seems to be our MO this year
Win the ones no one expects lose the one we should win :banghead

I think we can beat the pies this year, but we have to be hungry and at our best which we haven't been yet.
We need luck with injuries for that game too.
As for Lions, they are due for a win against us and having Leppa's recent inside knowledge will help but Rich out for the season hurts them.
In short we need the wins more than both of these clubs. I cant see us beating hawks or geelong this season though.
That would have us at 3-4 going into the bye
-
Beat the pies. WP lend me some of that shawitzi u been smoking lately
No chance
-
Thank god I am away for 2 weeks

Pee king Ducks his head a lot.
-
I'm not excusing King and I also want to see him dropped for Lloyd this week but in fairness to him he was injured early on in the game yesterday. He was already hobbling when he got crunched in that tackle. He played most of yesterday with injury restriction as did Morris who was carrying his shoulder early on as well.
-
IF we play the way Dimma say we are supposed to play.. :whistle...we will beat the Pies, if we play the way we have so far we will get absolutely smashes as we are currently no where near the level the Pies are playing at.
RE the Lions; NO EXCUSES.
-

Pee King off for sure. He looks finished. But I'd have Grigg and Petterd out the door in an instant before even turning my focus on Newman. Just on that horse's bum hole Grigg, do you remember that goal he coughed up to the Bullfrogs with one of his patented sh#% kick specials? He jogged laconically to the bench seconds afterwards, and I was sitting directly above him on the top deck and gave him an almighty spray.
-

We need a decent ruckman to be any chance of beating the pies. We also need Deledio otherwise we are gonna get reamed
-
Get real Damien and play the best players in their correct spots. FFS.
Out: Petterd, King, Newman, Grigg, Stephenson
In: Knights, Lloyd, Arnot, Deledio, Hampson
B: Morris Astbury Grimes
HB: Houli Chaplin Vlastiun
C: Conca Cotchin Ellis
HF: Knights Vickery Martin
F: S.Edwards Riewoldt Lloyd
R: Hampson Deledio Thomas
Int: Jackson Griffiths Arnot (Sub) Gordon
-
I reckon grigg is probably safe on the basis we lack outside runners, and possibly king.
But eff me if Newman and Pettard get a game against Collingwood ill know for sure Hardwick is going to coach our club into the ground.
-
As if we can beat colonwood going by our first three games.
This club has peaked.
The gatekeepers' "none shall pass" approach has had its effect
-
I reckon grigg is probably safe on the basis we lack outside runners, and possibly king.

Houli could easily play Grigg's role IMO. Houli can at least kick and will at least attempt to tackle and contest when he has to. Can't afford both of them in the side.
-
Would enjoy watching this line up next week:
B: Morris Astbury Batchelor
HB: Deledio Grimes McDonough
C: Ellis Martin Vlastuin
R: Hampson Thomas Cotchin
HF: Arnot Elton Gordon
F: Lloyd Riewoldt Griffiths
INT: Conca Jackson Helbig Lennon (S)
Make the outs earn the right to wear the jumper by finding hunger in the seconds
-
McDonough and Helbig are rubbish so is Batch
-
McDonuts is a second year player... To me, he seems like he can play.
Helbig may indeed be rubbish but has never been given a sustained go ala even a quarter of the opportunity of a houli/Grigg/petard/... At least he likes fighting and is tough. And can kick
Bach is ok.imo.
-
Helbig can't kick bro. His skills are poo.
Donuts can. Play Donuts in Houli's role. He will flourish with time.
Push Houli to the wing and Grigg to the twos.
-
Reckon that Conca will be lucky to play
One good run in the last quarter might not get him a game next week
-
McDonough is rubbish
Shows how much you know
-
HOLD THE PRESS.......We might have the slimmest of chances in this game.
The Pies may have one reported and three of their best will be playing on one leg if they play at all....

Still rather play them at full strength...
-
Cloke will kick 7 instead of 10.
-
All four of those players could miss and they'd still find a way to win.. its called pride
-
The Pies will find a way. Their midfield will dominate ours. For whatever the reason our midfield has dropped away this year. Thomas is not the answer imo. I hope Lids plays because Flossy is unlikely to do so. We seem to have too many experienced players who are under-done or lacking form. Our structures and game plan is not working atm.

They'll kill us even if they play on one leg, like Judd in the elim final
-
IMO: Cloke will kick a bootload. Lids will be tagged out if he plays. Jack will be nowhere in sight. And we'll get overrun all through the middle.
-
Watching the bombers dismantle the scum tonight gave me a horrible thought of what the pies will do to us on Friday, the scum just had no answer to the hard running bombers and its pains me to say it but in a nutshell we just don't and won't run that hard so we might be chasing alot of tail.

Apparently a few big outs for the pies

And probably for us too ? Have Riewoldt and Thomas been cited yet ? I'd be surprised if they don't both get a week. Riewoldt for the trip and Thomas for the sling tackle
-
I think their tall forwards will really expose us again..
Cloke to kick a bag and the other two as well. We will also play Swan back into form and little Elliot will think its his Birthday unless Morris can stop him????
-
Bring in Elton if Jack is outed.
-
No Pendlebury (maybe), Dwyer, Harry O (maybe), Beams, Adams, Dale Thomas gone, Heath Shaw gone. Swan horribly out of form and carrying niggles
-

They'll be looking forward to this week then. We'll play them back into form.
We'll make Jesse White look like Carey
The headlines Saturday will be 'This is why Cloke gets the big bucks - Clokes 7 sinks Tiges'
Swan 40 touches
Some old, past it hack turns back the clock.

Dale Thomas was sub last time. Hardly had an impact.
But as you said bogey side, so even if they brought in the Colliers and Bruce Andrew we'd be licked.

There is an article on the Hun web page about us not being hungry enough by Cotch....I cant download it though. :-\
-
Have a feeling we will come out on Friday with renewed vigour and desperation but the pies will still find a way to win and us a way to lose. Believe if it pans out that way then have having been in the media spotlight this week the group will be demoralized and that's goodbye to the season. If somehow we can overcome out mental demons and actually put in a full 100 mins effort and we fall over the line then it could kick start our season and with injured players returning soon it could be a major turning point. One promising thing so far under Hardwick is that on most occasions we have bounced back well after a mediocre loss.

Captain Trent Cotchin says Tigers will show fight against Collingwood
RICHMOND captain Trent Cotchin has dismissed suggestions his team is not hungry enough, insisting the Tigers are ready to bounce back against Collingwood on Friday night.
Cotchin said the group learnt some valuable lessons out of last week’s two-point loss to the Bulldogs, and can’t wait to have a crack at the Magpies this week.
DERM AND ANDO’S WEEKEND HEROES
“We are hungry enough; certainly last year hurt us,” Cotchin said of the Tigers’ disappointing elimination final loss to Carlton.
“We thought we were better than what we showed in the finals series.
“We are not saying we are not disappointed with the way the results have fallen, and our performance over the last couple of weeks, but we will be doing everything we possibly can to come out and show a real sign of fight.
“The Pies have shown some good signs over the past couple of weeks. It will be a really good midfield battle, but also at both ends, it is going to be interesting.”
cheers, tell us again what you will show us,
bc we never actually see it, just hear it.

Same old from Cotchin bloody hell

Seriously ! :banghead If I hear that bloody line again.... we've learnt that many frickin 'valuable lessons' in the past couple of years we should be effing qualified to lecture at Melbourne uni.
-
HOw many minutes will we fight for this week?
-
Yep we were disappointed.
Yep we need consistency and not concede multiple goals.
Yep we need this and that.
Yep Grigg will watch 98% of the play with minimal impact
Yep our best passage of play will end up with Titch butchering it
Yep Dimma is gonna have structures and parametres just like Danny had cherry ripes.
Prove me wrong princesses.
-
HOw many minutes will we fight for this week?
my guess is 5 minutes at which point the pies will get a run on of 4 goals and we will give up, sad to say. Simple fact is that week in week out its left to a few players rather than efforts across the squad, once those few are accounted for by the opposition then we are firing blanks from then on. God forbid if Cotch has a long term injury, goodbye season, just shouldn't be that reliant. Hawks, Cats, Bombers would all survive if you took out their Capitano, fear we would capitulate and it would be all too hard for the remaining "leaders" to cope with.
-
So "Cotchin said the group learnt some valuable lessons out of last week’s two-point loss to the Bulldogs, and can’t wait to have a crack at the Magpies this week"
Have a crack...have a stuffing crack....you better do more than have a stuffing crack!!!!! :banghead :banghead :banghead
-
God forbid if Cotch has a long term injury, goodbye season, just shouldn't be that reliant.
Sad but very true
Hawks, Cats, Bombers would all survive if you took out their Capitano
Hawks , Cats and Freo maybe. Don't be fooled by Essendon. By round 15 they will be a one man team again. Watson is that man.
-
Cloke celebrating his 200th game this week.
Hope our players want to celebrate too, but kicking their stuffing arse across the mcg and sending the filth supporters home early :gotigers
-
We better not lewz this game or im gonna lewz my sh!+ and go postal on some mudlarks from the top deck and throw em off and see if they can stuffin fly5

Is this the same as 100/100?
-
Is this the same as 100/100?
Nah. 50/50 usually means 6 weeks on the sidelines!
-
Play it safe and leave him out for another week- we're not going to beat Collingwood either way.
-
I hate lewzing
-
I hate all the Zing's, not just Lew. Bloody Asians.
-
breaking news from punt rd on 9 coming up, lids :huh
-
deledio to miss again
-
Not surprising, like y&bb said 50/50 at punt rd usually means 6-8
-
Goodbye 2014.
-
We can't beat the filth without lids.
-
Goodbye 2014.
Don't do it TBR! It's not worth it!
-
We can't beat the filth without lids.
if he played he'd probably be tagged out the game anyway, maybe it's time some other midfielder stood up apart from Cotch. Maybe we throw the challenge toTitch and send him into the thick of it as his last chance to impress before being banished to the 2's.

Preview: Richmond v Collingwood
Jennifer Phelan
afl.com.au
April 9, 2014
Both teams are coming off a loss – Collingwood from its tough 11-point downing by Geelong and Richmond from a two-point defeat by the Western Bulldogs. The results leave both teams out of the eight, with the Magpies 13th and the Tigers 12th. The Pies were buoyed by five goals to Jamie Elliot but lost the midfield battle against the Cats and Travis Cloke was held goalless. The Tigers put in an atrocious second quarter to trail by 37 points at half-time against the Dogs. They fought back in the second half and briefly led but couldn't finish the job.
WHERE AND WHEN: MCG, Friday April 11, 7.50pm AEST
LAST FIVE TIMES
R4, 2013, Collingwood 16.17 (113) d Richmond 11.13 (79) at the MCG
R2, 2012, Collingwood 12.13 (85) d Richmond 8.16 (64) at the MCG
R4, 2011, Collingwood 24.17 (161) d Richmond 13.12 (90) at the MCG
R17, 2010, Collingwood 19.13 (127) d Richmond 6.9 (45) at the MCG
R20, 2009, Collingwood 22.20 (152) d Richmond 8.11 (59) at the MCG
THE SIX POINTS
1. The last time these sides met, Travis Cloke starred. He kicked seven goals in round four last year when the Pies won by 34 points.
2. After three rounds, Cloke is rated 46th for contested marks and the Magpies third last. Last season, he was first and his team sixth.
3. The sides are faring differently in clearances. The Tigers are ranked second with an average of nearly 45 a game while the Pies are equal second last with 36.
4. Still, the Pies have the upper hand in recent history. They've beaten the Tigers the last six times with round 19, 2007 the last yellow and black victory.
5. Shaun Hampson could return for the Tigers while Nick Vlastuin is being monitored after being concussed. The Pies are confident Nick Maxwell (ankle) will play.
6. Scott Pendlebury remains second on the AFL Official Player Ratings but Dane Swan has fallen from ninth to 13th.
Prediction: Collingwood by 19 points

Goodbye 2014.
Don't do it TBR! It's not worth it!
Relax, I'm just going to block out this season with alcohol until I get to that golden period in 2015, when enough time has passed to forget about us stuffing up the draft, and the pre season hasn't yet started.
That golden period every year when I am convinced this will be the year.
-
There it is
Clokes 200th Friday night
Milestone games usual go in tandom with some spud kicking 4 goals
Revised margin
Over 60
-
The thing that gets me is that Buckley has put the acid on Cloke and Swan to perform and guess what, they will. Hardwick does the same thing and our players have shockers, tells you alot about our state of mind and will to succeed compared to other teams. Would like to be proven wrong on this tomorrow night but expect Swan to be BOG and Cloke with at least 6 goals.
-
Our form aside, the Pies aren't much chop either. We can still win this.
-
The thing that gets me is that Buckley has put the acid on Cloke and Swan to perform and guess what, they will. Hardwick does the same thing and our players have shockers
You could say Brandon had the acid put on him, then came out Round 2 and got the perfect 10 from both coaches the following week v Carlton.

this is true, as every knows, that as time goes on and the more advanced technology gets, rain has less and less influence in turning soil into mud

What a bunch of soft , limp wristed pretenders.
Cotch is the only one that looks like he's trying.
I'm sure they're shutting themselves.
It's pathetic.
-
Chaplain is an absolute liability
-
Good work kid ...
We are having a crack ..
beating them at contested footy 9-8 and contested possies we are leading
Just not converting and making errors
KEEP UP THIS INTENSITY AND WILL WIN
-
We need more than intensity, Damo, we need to be cleaner with the footy.
-
Why is everyone saying we're pathetic, the Tigers were putting, looked a lot better.
Wet condition, a bit more intensity and a few less fumbles and we can we.
And Lloyd is looking pretty good too!

I agree Damon but reality is they kicked 4 goals when they had the momentum and we kicked 1.
Can see an 8-9 goal defeat unless we use it better.
-
Disposal efficiency of an under 10's girls team, it's horrible to watch.
-
Ugly.
-
i feel sorry for you deluded supporters who still think we can win.........you must also think hardwick is a genius and that martin is a star.........

at least Thomas gives 100 % unlike grigg martin sheds newy....etc etc etc etc
-
Soooo much holding off the ball.
And Lamumba has his tail up - usually comes into play when the opposition is 4 goals down
-
Grigg :huh
-
Drinks all around when Vickery gets a kick
-
Ssssshit
-
Can someone please explain to me how Cotch doesn't have enough room to scratch his arse yet pendlebury has so much space he could set up camp for the night? :banghead
-
Drinks all around when Vickery gets a kick
See you early in the 4th after the proverbial cheap one over the back.
-
Anyone still wishing to defend how we are playing should look at that Grimes replay.
-
Ahhh. Time to get ready for the rebuild.
-
Technically speaking, they're weak as p is s
-

Logically speaking they're soft as shyte

put the blame on the player who passed it to Grimes across the ground
-
Can you hear the drums Fernando?
They were closer now Fernando
Every hour every minute seemed to last eternally
I was so afraid Fernando
-
Liam stuffing Jones one week, Jesse stuffing White the next...
Look, they're trying, but it's a Demons type of trying. We're not good enough.
Tell Newman, Grigg, Edwards and Chaplin at half-time that the first one to knock out Macaffer gets to play for the rest of the season, the others are in Coburg all year.
-
Bottom six;
- Grigg
- Vickery very close second
- Chaplin
- Conca
- Newman
- Martin
We're getting killed on the spread.
Their mids are running hard to fill in the gaps when we have the ball. Our mids watch them run away when they have the ball.
Only Richmond can make Jesse White look good,
-
My Under 12s play better wet weather footy. Just be smart. Gain territory and push the ball forward with man on man. Don't let them have 2 spare men back.. ffs.
Kick long and keep your feet and run your guts out. Ffs.
-
Conca has been ok
-
Conca has been ok
Yeah he's been ok.
-
Edwards is the weakest player l have ever seen play football
-
Apart from the total lack of accountability I think they are far superior in they skills across the squad than we are, virtually everyone is fumbling but when it matters the pies players are so much cleaner with their disposal. Chaplin, Ellis, Grigg, Edwards and I could go on all have abysmal ball handling and kicking skills, all other teams have moved past us in this area. No matter if we lift our effort if we can't hold the ball and hit targets then it's just wasting everyone's time.
-
Can't believe it's only 28 points! Feels like 60.
-
Anyone still wishing to defend how we are playing should look at that Grimes replay.
put the blame on the player who passed it to Grimes across the ground.
The kick was perfect. At least it wasn't a dumb, kick down the line to contest. We have played scared, safe football.
-
why do we make it look so hard?
Grimes you gimp, that shocker stoodf out tonight amongst a sea of crap.
Lloyd good debut - that's it..
-
the footage of the first half that they are show fox footy of Vickery is damning. Ricciuto calling it not up to AFL standard the way his standing off his opponent when the ball was coming out of our defensive 50 into the middle of the ground. The ball isnt going to come 80 meters he can't leave his opponent to collect the rebounds and kick it back into their forward 50.
-
why do we never honour the first option which is often the easiest one? So frustrating watching players get a break on their opponent and the player with the ball not backing his kicking skills to put it out in front. Collingwood on the other hand make it look easy. We are in a world of pain atm, confidence shot
-
ball up goal square, not goal side of the best player on the ground...
-
Edwards absolute disgrace of a footballer tonight, for a player with supposedly the best hands since diesel, his cleanliness and skills close in have been nigh on worst on the ground.
-
Whorendous Tigers!!!!!!!!!
-
Years over
-
We are playing like little leaguers, we swarm to the.ball but when the ball clears the pack no one is there. Are we coached or do they just go out and do what they want?
-
Whats Newman done? But itll be the same ol same ol where the noobs like Gordon will be sacrificed and made scapegoats at the selection table next week, whilst Edwards, Newman Grigg will continue on their merry way.
-
Playing like the coach and players aren't on the same page any more.
-
If the ball is so slippery why aren't some of the players wearing gloves?
-
If the ball is so slippery why aren't some of the players wearing gloves?
If the ball is so slippery, why aren't the Pies fumbling?
-
If I were hardwick I would make a malthouse statement this week.
Vickery Chaplin Morris, Grigg, Edwards all out
-
If the ball is so slippery why aren't some of the players wearing gloves?
If the ball is so slippery, why aren't the Pies fumbling?
Because that is what we specialise at BEING FRIGGIN CRAP
-
TURNING OFF NOW
And leaving here!
-
Lloyd, Vlastuin, Astbury and Jackson the only ones who can hold their head high tonight. Arnott showing something since he got on.
Jack you retread, when your 7 goals down and goaless yourself maybe you shouldn't be having a crack at the pies player for punching the ball?
-
Vickery and Chaplin HAVE to go.
Newman too.
Playing too tall as it is so bring it in on.
3 goals in 3 quarters - eff me. May as well throw griff to chf permanent and/or bring Elton in. We couldnt do worse
-
We just don't have a midfield at the moment so intent on negative football that when we do get the ball we are standing flat footed, we have so many out of form players its horrendous. Not sure where we go from here, yes we can drop the obvious targets but who would come in, would be back to getting flogged week in week out.
-
We have recruited too many average players who were doing nothing with their previous clubs and we already had too many players who werent doing anything with Richmond anyway. So we have added average players to average players and this equals an average squad which will never succeed.
-
If the ball is so slippery why aren't some of the players wearing gloves?
If the ball is so slippery, why aren't the Pies fumbling?
true. We are just hopeless
-
Couple of things - depth is an issue. Kinda knew it but it really sticks out.
Preparation this season has been poor, might be between the ears but it doesn't matter - that's a coaching issue.
We are clearly mentally shot which isn't good enough given our experience.
It's just a shame, again after showing promise, the club looks to have failed to deliver on a basic promise - which is to play finals in 2 consecutive years.
It is hard to believe that any sporting organisation in an elite competition could be so mediocre for so long - particularly when so much is done is equalise the competition.
But there you go.
Night all.
:facepalm
-
we are the dumbest team ever :banghead
-
Gordon, don't just stand there & put your hands to your face whilst the opposition are racing off with the ball
-
This loss has shown that perhaps we are back in the wilderness for while.
-
First to the footy ever!!!!!!
-
Its all over folks. We are starting again whether Hardwick likes it or not. This squad isnt good enough for anything. Have to go and start rebuilding with knew kids.
-

When you recruit competetors, you end up being competative give or take.
Meanwhile, the rest of the comp are recruiting champions to be......
-
Yay Arnot!!!
-
Love how we kick goals late in the 4th. So infuriating this club.
-
they are still fighting so thats something

did you really think we had a chance tonight with our outs
-
we have a kicker ;D :gotigers
-
Lloyd been the only positive. Miles ahead of Edwards and king
-
did you really think we had a chance tonight with our outs
I didn't think we had a chance because of some of the guys IN the team.
-
did you really think we had a chance tonight with our outs
Even if Maric Rance and Deledio had played we still would have lost. We are slow as treakle and our skill level is short of the mark to do anything at this level IMHO.

Edwards is gone next week, weakest scared footballer in the afl
-
I started watching Elysium halfway through the second. Pretty good night so far.

... and what is Gordon doing, watching the Pies players run away from him? Is he injured?
-
Too many soft pretty boys. Need more arnotts and Morris's
-
Cotch might be in a bit of trouble.
-
Geez Arnott is a unit showing a real hard edge gotta keep perservering with these types, Arnott, Lloyd, Gordon, bring in Lennon soon
-
Edwards in the middle too scared to pick the ball up OMG l HATE him
-
Cotch might be in a bit of trouble.
At least he showed some bloody emotion. He deserves better.
-
Hes jacked me off the most tonight, these conditions were suited to his supposed skillset, and his handling has been nigh on the worst - not a footballers ahole
-
Cotch might be in a bit of trouble.
did you see that on world movies ;D

Chaplin bump on Lumumba in that last quarter was one of the weakest feel sorry l dont want to hurt you hits l ever seen. He should have injured him. pee weak
good outcome was Astbury, Lyord, Arnot, Thomas, its a loss but not all is lost in the cubs
-

they may as well go and get Kayne Pettifer to make a comeback. now that would be real Moneyball material :lol
-
:lol
Terrible you guys can keep raising the stakes in the squib count
-
Will do well not to finish bottom 2 this year, game plan has been found out and once it's contested we get blown away, think Hardwick is clueless to change things and really needs to drop some under perfomers to send a message otherwise we will be the new Demons very quickly. I know it's been said ad nauseam but we have to as a matter of priority get some players with pace.
-
Edwards is gone next week, weakest scared footballer in the afl
I'll raise you Ellis
I'll raise you Grigg............
Yer you win!
Although people know Grigg is sh4t, Ellis takes the easy way out in one on ones by either falling over or giving away a free kick. Cannot stand him from day one.

Amen brother! :bow

In the last quarter there was a ball for Ellis to go hard at, he genuinely SHARTED his pants

Desperately needs to be dropped for his own good IMHO. Should spend 2 or 3 weeks playing for the reserves and have a think his footy.
-
Cotchins punch in the last was good to see, wish deledio & a few others would take a look at that & start giving it out
-
Disposal efficiency of an under 10's girls team, it's horrible to watch.
x 2

Reckon I saw him do it 2 or 3 times tonight. Wasn't a good look. :banghead

To me it looked like the magpie players were running on top of the ground while we were ploughing through it..Gee we don't look fit

True colors.

The last 1/4 one was not good
-
I've seen the side play live twice this year, both in slippery conditions and nothing is better at sorting the wheat from the chaff.
The problem is players who have been on the list for a number of years like Jackson, Edwards, Newman, Grimes and experienced recruits like Hampson and Grigg (I'm still prepared to give Chaplin a tick overall) are chaff when it comes to executing the big three of football in difficult conditions or under pressure:
Ball handling, Decision making, Skill execution.
You can't have about a quarter of your time suspect under anything less than perfect opportunities and compete at the top end.
It is that simple.
-
Grimes has not been on the list for years
-
5 years on the list, which is enough to show your worth.
Add King, Petterd, and A Edwards to the list as well and there is a big chunk of the list in the same boat.
-
Grimes is the same draft as Astbury. Griffiths. Dea.
-
Grimes is the same draft as Astbury. Griffiths. Dea.
Out of that lot I think Griffiths and Astbury are going well, jury still out on Dea.
But the point I'm making is on those three measures, ball handling, decision making and skill execution, under pressure or in difficult conditions Grimes is clearly flawed.
He is a good spoiler and a good shut down defender and that's ok. In the right set-up that is fine and it could be for us.
But we have too many players exposed in those areas and the majority need to go.

God what a waste of time, came home last night at about 1am and watched the game. I don't know what to say...

Lucky for me I boarded a flight to Europe just as the game started
The thing is that rebuilding word is finished in my eyes
Ask yourself this how many times have pies cats or hawks rebuilt their list in the last 15 years
Good clubs rarely do because when the chips are down they play their youngsters while we gifted games to Edwards and Grigg types
No one yo blame but ourselves
Looking forward to April 2015, the month when hardwick will see what an unemployment queue is going to look at
It's over lads don't tear up look forward to the WC as I am
Gone are the days where I take these losses to heart. We are a basket case and should be laughed at nothing else

Coaches panic and save their arses after 3 years. Same story every stuffing time. Let's find a good one and give him a 10 year deal. Wipe the poo up in the first 5 and make sure the smell is gone for the next 2-3 and by the end we might be going places.
-
Get Buddy to coach us. 10 mill for 9 years. Outbid the Swans. Get it done Tiges. :thumbsup

I heard Dimmas after match press conference, finally said it how it is. No more putting a positive spin on it to sell stuffing memberships! and in the process playing us off for fools!! faced up to the truth and said it straight out, right now we are nowhere near it and we need to change things around. Well stuff me, its about time! If you did that more often you'd be surprised at how much more respect you'd get from the supporter base.
First step is admitting you have a problem, now maybe we can do something about it, but will he have the balls to drop Newman, Edwards, Grigg and Vickery?? Bring in Lennon and McDonough for a start and give them plus Arnott, Lloyd and Gordon a FAIR red hot go at it. If he did that I would back him to the hilt bc he's doing whats best for the club and looking fwd.... however....
What odds on Pettard returning and Gordon being dropped bc he had a quiet one? ::)
-
What odds on Pettard returning and Gordon being dropped bc he had a quiet one? ::)
You know what Tony. It's easy for Dimma to drop the so called list cloggers this week we are playing Brisbane. My key criteria is this win lose or draw against Brissy to keep the kids playing the following two weeks after that rather than say we are playing Hawthorn and Geelong and we needed bigger more experienced bodies and these Vickery Pettard Edwards Grigg types just get a week hiatus from the side and return back to the mediocrity. Kids will learn more playing against Hawthorn and Geelong much more than what the cloggers will. Come on Dimma mean it when you say it.
-
Lust cloggers have FA to do with it.
It's experienced guts who drop their heads.
That my friends, is a psyche/culture issue

Truly poetic.
I'll be going to have a poo every time the tigers play now and just ponder the glory years.
