Who cares, if we win, big if, I will take nothing out of the game and neither should the RFC, we can't beat the top teams, we can't beat the up and coming teams so what's the point of beating the Lions and taking anything from it.
-
Why when your season is over do u have to keep playing more games? :banghead
-
Must win game
-
They haven't won a quarter yet
-
They'll win at least one maybe two on Thursday. Bookmark it.

They'll win the 4 points to. We are no chance
-
Luenburger just went down, knee!
-
Would you take the four points in this game albeit a scruffy 10 point win with Grigg or Titch BOG or would you rather take a game where we start playing the kids and if it means we get done, we get done but it is all about the future and getting games into the kids and who knows we may see improvement that realigns our season over time and has us in a more prosperous position come pre season.
Are some of us still thinking of finals 2014 as a long term goal? I'm not but some might and that's fine.
-
I don't see how the kids could possibly do any worse.
-
Browny's 250th this week.
Get ready for the Lions to be up and about lol. ;D
-
haha we cant take a trick - nevermind Brisbane are gonski for the time being we'll win.
Leunberger gone, Hanley hammy?
-
Some no name will kick 5 and then Ashley McGrath will tear us a new one with Zorko.
-
It's funny how when other teams play us and its a milestone game for a player they lift and find a way to win, when one of our players has a milestone its just another game, tells you alot about the mental strength or lack thereof where our players are concerned.
-
haha we cant take a trick - nevermind Brisbane are gonski for the time being we'll win.
Leunberger gone, Hanley hammy?
players will treat it as a certainty. :lol
-
8 point game
-
They haven't won a quarter yet
Guarantee they will against us if we play softies like Grigg and Edwards
-
8 point game
Nah, this is definitely a 16 point game - lose it and we're finished for the year and should go the tank by playing only the kids for the rest of the year.
-
They will roll out Raines and McGaune next week
-
Pity Melbourne won. Really wanted the media scrutiny on our club. Brisbane will come out firing after that loss. Time for the players to stand up and be counted
-
We will find a way to lose if we can.
There will be some excuse from Dimma - heat, browns 250th, injuries :chuck
-
1 of 2 outcomes.
Brisbane play with nothing to lose vs our safe slow rubbish game play thanks to Leppas knowledge of our players and knock us off for Browns 250th with a depleted side.
or
We thrash them by 10 goals and preach how good our structure and effort was.
-
considering brissie will be playing with a Big M little league side this week anything under 15 goal win would be unsatisfactory IMHO.

No Brett Deledio as Richmond prepares to face Brisbane team decimated by injury
Herald-Sun
April 13, 2014 4:16PM
RICHMOND’S bid to resuscitate its season has received a huge boost with the Lions missing four of their best six players for Thursday’s crunch match.
But the Tigers will again be without Brett Deledio, who admits he is unsure when he will overcome Achilles soreness.
Brisbane pair Pearce Hanley (second in last year’s best-and-fairest) and Matthew Leuenberger (sixth) face a month on the sidelines, while Daniel Merrett is still suspended.
Hanley (hamstring) and Leunberger (knee) were injured in the belting against Port Adelaide, with 13 Lions including Daniel Rich (knee, second in the 2012 best-and-fairest), Luke McGuane (knee), Brent Staker (knee) and Ash McGrath (calf) all sidelined.
The Lions also have only a five-day break that included travel from Adelaide back to Queensland before taking on a Richmond side humbled by Collingwood last Friday night.
Deledio told Channel 7 on Sunday he was working towards his return from a sore tendon which ran down the back of his foot.
Coach Damien Hardwick said last week his star playmaker could be sidelined for up to a month but hoped he would return sooner.
“I have been running the last couple of days but I have to make sure I can pull up all right and get some strength work into it,’’ Deledio said.
“I haven’t got a lot of spring and can’t explode off the mark. It is a little tendon which runs down past your Achilles which is causing me grief but I am strengthening it and touch wood I will be back out there sooner rather than later. I am not going to be out for two months.
“I have had a pretty good history in the past of being able to heal pretty quickly so I want to get back out there.”
Deledio said the Tigers needed to do more to help star Trent Cotchin to escape taggers, with the captain adamant some of Brent Macaffer’s tactics were illegal.
“We know there’s been taggers in the game for donkey’s years but, just at times, I thought I was being held illegally,” Cotchin said.
“But the reality is there’s three umpires out there, they’re doing the best they can and the onus is on myself to win the footy and to have my teammates helping me out.”
Ivan Maric (ankle) is expected back after the Round 8 bye, with Tyrone Vickery subbed out but not injured against the Pies.
Lions coach Justin Leppitsch joked he might need to make a comeback, but knows Leuenberger and Hanley won’t be back soon.
“Whether it’s a minor couple of weeks or five or six, hopefully (Leuenberger is) not a surgery candidate,” Leppitsch said.
“And Pearce Hanley’s hamstring, whether it’s three weeks or whether it’s six, that will be determined by scanning.
“I have got no one left, I might have to come out of retirement if we keep going like this.”

Won't win a game until Maric and lids return.
Were always gonna struggle losing Maric.
-
I am not sure Maric and Lids are the be all of answers although I do agree they are important. It's our lack of speed and our poor level of skill, as well as poor decision making, unwillingness to get the hard ball, shirking responsibility and accountability and overall non commitment to every contest by nearly every player that is costing us. Lids and Maric won't fix that.

Team selection needs to be spot on to win this one. We were too tall against the dogs on a small ground. We were too tall against Collingwood given the conditions. Need to factor in conditions and size of ground in selecting team in addition to the other factors such as form.

10 - 15 goal win coming up. Back it up with a win against our bunnies Hawthorn and we're off and running again and all the media morons will be peeing in our pockets again. Hardwick's a great coach , Hartley is a recruiting maestro blah blah.

How will we beat Hawthorn without Lids? We'd have to hope for one of their stars to do a knee vs Geelong

Preview: Brisbane Lions v Richmond

April 15, 2014 11:34 AM
SUMMARY
Two of the early-season strugglers get a chance to break free of the doldrums when they square off in this Easter Thursday contest. After winning 15 games last season, Richmond has started poorly in 2014, with just one win from the opening four rounds. The Lions have started even worse, failing to win a quarter, let alone a match, with an already inexperienced team decimated by injuries. Both teams are missing some of their best players – in Richmond’s case Brett Deledio, Ivan Maric and Alex Rance, and the Lions have to make-do without Matthew Leuenberger and Daniel Rich for now. Richmond has a great recent record against the Lions, and should have too much class in this one.
WHERE AND WHEN: Gabba, Thursday April 17, 7.50pm
LAST FIVE TIMES
R20, 2013, Richmond 14.13 (97) d Brisbane Lions 11.8 (74) at the MCG
R19, 2012, Richmond 20.12 (132) d Brisbane Lions 12.12 (84) at the Gabba
R13, 2011, Richmond 18.17 (125) d Brisbane Lions 14.10 (94) at the Gabba
R6, 2011, Richmond 18.16 (124) d Brisbane Lions 14.14 (98) at the MCG
R13, 2010, Richmond 15.15 (105) d Brisbane Lions 12.14 (86) at the Gabba
THE SIX POINTS
1. Richmond won the most recent contest between the two clubs at the MCG by 23 points, but destroyed the Lions in most statistical categories. They won disposals (424-296), scoring shots (25-15) and inside-50s (55-44).
2. No team has had less inside-50s so far in 2014 than the Lions, averaging just 40.7 per game; Richmond is ninth with 51 per game.
3. The Lions' greatest winning margin over Richmond is 77 points in round 20, 1995 at the Gabba, while the Tigers' biggest win is 82 points twice, in 1990 and again in 2006.
4. One area the Tigers have been strong so far in 2014 is clearances. They are ranked second in the League with 45.2 per game, while the Lions are 10th with 39.2 per game.
5. The clubs have met 16 times at the Gabba for eight wins apiece. Richmond has won the past four clashes.
6. With a full-time midfield role, Lion Tom Rockliff is racing up the Official AFL Player Ratings. With another 31 touches last weekend against Port Adelaide, Rockliff has risen to no.55 overall.
Prediction: Richmond by 21 points

Just go for it, Lions players are told

THE BRISBANE Lions must free the shackles and just "go for it" against Richmond on Thursday night, head of coaching and development Peter Schwab says.
The Lions are winless after four rounds, and with injuries to key trio Daniel Rich (season), Matthew Leuenberger (12 weeks) and Pearce Hanley (two weeks) are facing a bleak future.
Despite the poor outlook after back-to-back hidings from Gold Coast and Port Adelaide, Schwab said the Lions had a strong chance against the out-of-sorts Tigers, who have only won one match this season.
However he intimated the Lions – set to field an extremely young team - must stop being conservative with ball movement, and adhere to coach Justin Leppitsch's game-plan.
"It's a confidence thing with our game-plan," Schwab said.
"We've just got to take the game on regardless of the personnel and try and do what Justin's been coaching them throughout the summer.
"(We) try to tell the boys, just go for it, do the things we want you to do, there's no punishment for effort or trying to do it.
"Hopefully that'll create a difference this week."
Schwab said winning would still come down to the basics of efficient ball movement, good defensive set-ups and winning clearances.
"In the end it's up to the players when they're out here to take it on themselves, to just go for it.
"As a coaching group, I think we can win tomorrow night.
"I think the players deep down might have some doubts because they haven't won, but they know it's an opportunity for them."
Leppitsch was an assistant coach to Damien Hardwick for the past four years, and Schwab expects his intimate knowledge of the Tigers' players to be an advantage.
One of those players is midfielder Trent Cotchin, who was the subject of much scrutiny after last week's loss to Collingwood following the tight tagging of Brent Macaffer that limited him to just 13 touches.
Schwab said the Lions would be likely to try a similar tactic.
"I think the unfortunate thing for Trent is he's always going to be the number one player for Richmond's midfield that you look to, so he will get the attention," he said.
"He would expect that. Up the other end, (Jack) Riewoldt is the number one forward for them, so you try and stop Riewoldt. They're probably the two key players in Richmond's team at the moment."

Anthony Miles ;D :shh
they not smart enough to put him on the senior list. if he was in against Footscray we would have won for sure.

But we needed Big O as cover for Hampson - made such a difference

The bookies and media 'experts' have us overwhelming favourites despite our terrible form ..
Richmond $1.22
Brisbane $4.30

Two goal win
Pettatd grigg houli Chaplin safe for another six weeks ffs
-
And then beat the hawks, lmfao :rollin no chance in hell the way were going.
Anything under a 10 goal win is unacceptable, if we can do that then we may get something mental back and only if then it might be game on next week.

FINAL INTERCHANGES
Brisbane Lions: Tom Cutler, Lewis Taylor, Ryan Lester
Substitute: Brent Moloney
Richmond: Shane Edwards, Bachar Houli, Matt Thomas
Substitute: Nathan Gordon

Look out McGuane!!!!!!!!
-
The first quarter will tell the story. No doubt Brisbane spurred by Brown's 250th and the flogging they copped against Port plus from their public talk this week see us as mentally fragile and will come out trying to jump us on the scoreboard and put us under mental pressure. Will we just limp into the game and let the opposition run free all over us over the ground with no defensive pressure again or will we finally show some intensity as a whole team this year and make a statement ourselves by shooting out of the blocks? Up to you Richmond!

Dumb Jacko.
All that dominance and we then gift them a set shot in front of the sticks :scream. Lucky he misses.

Still look slow boys.........
-
Quarter time
Richmond 2.8-20
Brisbane 0.1-1
Goals: Riewoldt, Martin.
Bad kicking is bad footy. We should be 7 goals up and game over. We've kept Brisbane in the game :scream.
-
Still look slow boys.........
Because we are!
-
Grigg, Petterd, Houli and Shedwards have already exhibited great examples of weakness.
Wish some of the boys would hold a mark.
And stuffing kick straight at the sticks...
-
This bad kicking is gonna bite us on the ass soon
-
Conca is just plain stupid.
-
Unbelievable ! For all the crap that's been talked this week it was mostly our inability to convert in the 1st qtr that cost us against Collingwood and we're doing it again. Should still win but if we do that next week we're gonski
-
Would be at least 20 down against a top 4 side, why do we constantly lead to the pockets, no wonder we can't score goals, half the shots are from impossible angle. We are just clueless inside 50. Don't care what game plan we supposedly have the players look like it's totally ad lib.
-
Conca is just plain stupid.
Yep - got his usual bag of tricks reel that quarter - caught holding the ball, giving away stupid frees.....
Edwards gave us his traditional snatch at the ball and fumble in front of goal.
Houli's trademark hesitancy.
Griff and Hampson their patented general shiteness.
Oh what Hawthorn will do to us next week.
-
LOL what about advantage you idiot ::)
-
Jacko long to Jack :gotigers
Rich 26
Bris 1
-
Should be 100 points if we are fair dinkum really.........
-
Conca is just plain stupid.
Beautiful pass to Jack for our first goal by Conca and if I ever write a book on idiots you'll fill the 1st chapter
-
Stupid Thomas. No awareness :scream
-
T A L K
-
That's your goal to Brisbane, Thomas!
26 - 7
-
Miles would've kicked that.
-
No wonder Gerks left. Magoo Medalist eh? Wow stuffin' wee....
-
FFS
-
T A L K
How did he not know someone was behind him when the Brisbane player was on his tail before he marked the ball?!
And now another dumb undisciplined act gifts them 50m :banghead.
-
Terry 'Bloody' Wallace
-
Miles would've kicked that.
Edotw
-
No improvement from last week, only difference is the weaker opposition, disposal is just terrible.
-
Oh Dustin Martin...
X2
-
LOL
Dustyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :bow :gotigers
Rich 32
Bris 8
-
Umpire how please......
-
Houli = squib
-
There's part of our problem, Martin asking whether he should go for goal, no instinct, too programmed hence our game is so stilted and slow.
-
We might as well kick Brisbane's goals. We kick most of the opposition's goals each week.
32 - 14
-
I love Corona!!!!!!!
-
I love lamp. I love table
-
We're bottom 4 quality guys, this is almost unwatchable.
-
Any chance you can touch the ball Titch?
We'll lose this. We have no idea other than bombing it to the pocket once we get to 80m out.
33 - 20
-
I think I am getting divorced...............
-
We're bottom 4 quality guys, this is almost unwatchable.
My god, watching tonight youd think so :facepalm
-
This is the worse game of football I have ever seen.
-
We're bottom 4 quality guys, this is almost unwatchable.
Diabolical effort in the second quarter. 10 metre chip sideways after 10 metre chip sideways.
At least in the first quarter we put some tackling pressure on the Lions.
This is just hopeless
-
We're bottom 4 quality guys, this is almost unwatchable.
Getting dictated to by this years spooners/bottom 2.
Chip wide because we are scared to take on a bunch of teenage 4th round picks and dads army
-
Take them on and they will poo themselves, if we can mark it!
-
Anyone else starting to get a vibe here?
-
Take them on and they will poo themselves, if we can mark it!
We cant were too poot
-
Anyone else starting to get a vibe here?
Yep STOP
-
This makes me sick
-
C'mon folks settle down, this is what we pay our membership for to be completely embarrassed by our team, if you can call them that :whistle
-
As soon as a bit of pressure comes on from the opposition, even of Brisbane's crapness, it's self-preservation mode. Short slow useless chipping which kills any forward momentum and going sides until we turn it over.
-
Very hard to watch...
-
Negative poo football.....this is the coaches fault :banghead
-
WEAK DOGS
-
Brisbane wins a quarter for the first time this year. No surprise we gifted them it with our pathetic efforts :banghead :facepalm.
Half-time
Richmond 2.8 4.10-34
Brisbane 0.1 3.2-20
Goals: Riewoldt 2, Martin 2
-
Hey Dimma DIRECT WE WIN not stuffn rocket science mate
-
District football is better.
-
Comical stuff from both sides.
Scarily reminicient of the post-finals Frawley years.
-
Four goals to three :clapping
-
Worse half of football I have seen in a very long time we would be 80 down against hawks or cats. I don't think we have strung more than a couple of possessions together moving in a forward direction. It's like all the players are a bit stupid and just started slowing the game down but at the wrong time. They seem to just not grasp how to play free flowing football. Hard to believe we can go so far backwards in such a short time. Cannot find one positive out of that half.
-
The lions win their first quarter of the year.
Well done Tigers. Helping every team
:clapping :clapping :clapping
-
:clapping
-
Hardwick has rebuilt the list.... into another poohouse. Turned us around....straight into the path of another iceberg.
-
Can we sub Hardwick's game plan?
-
Kingy all over it this morning in the HS
-
Can't wait for Hardwicks positive spin on this game, including his self preservation speech.
Edwards 5 possessions, don't tell me Foley, McDonough or Lennon wouldn't have more than that or done more with the 5 then Edwards has. He should be subbed now for Gordon ned dropped next week.
-
where to now?
-
Haven't seen Mr Invisible Vickery all half, needs to lift in the second half
-
Can we sub Hardwick's game plan?
How funny was Brooce saying we would adjust at half-time?
Top shelf comedy from Macca, he knows Hardwick plans are locked and loaded well before the game starts.
-
Haven't seen Mr Invisible Vickery all half, needs to lift in the second half
He's doing a lot better than last week!

Top shelf comedy from Macca, he knows Hardwick plans are locked and loaded well before the game starts.
Dimma must have found Terry's Black book.
-
2 handballs less
But 5 turnovers better ...
-
:lol
-
Feel sorry for Will & Kate, hope there not watching this LOL
-
2nd half under way, comedy capers time
-
Good night!!!
-
Such a typical goal we concede time and time again. Defenders fail to punch an incoming high ball through for a point and by keeping it in we eventually gift a goal :banghead.
-
I wonder if Damien could be coaching his last game???
-
Soft
-
Uh oh.
-
we're getting done on the slingshot by Brisbane now?? :lol
FFS even Brisroy can see it
-
We are a laughing stock :lol
-
What's the point of playing a forward press if we only end up clogging our forward line and leave our backline wide open for an opposition counter attack. Too many of our guys are one-way runners who don't defend over 4 qtrs.
35 - 32 with Brisbane with the run and confidence.
-
We are pathetic at the moment. We look like we are trying to handle a bar of soap. We have squandered our chances and players like Petterd, Hampson, Thomas and even Cotchin keep making terrible mistakes at crucial times. I can't believe we have let them get in front of us after all of our dominance. We are now where near the side we were last year. The finals is extremely unlikely now even if we somehow beat Brisbane (a team with 10 teenagers and missing their best players) :banghead
-
I wonder if Damien could be coaching his last game???
Real clever ... Obviously not
-
I ain't even mad
-
I wonder if Damien could be coaching his last game???
You know what will be produced after this WAT?
-
Might just go to bed, sick of watching our "mighty tigers"....,bring on the roar.... :help
-
LOL these umps are as bad as the teams. How was Petterd off his line when he was coming back into the field of play after collecting the ball from over the boundary? :lol
-
I wonder if Damien could be coaching his last game???

What mate?

Hahahaha, yeah, bucket loads of them.. :thumbsup

This is the best comedy I have watched all year. FFS, move the ball quickly, playing ring a ring a rosy is not possibly the game plan, or is it.
-
Lol we dont have the ticker to take it up to 9 x 18 year olds, a few handy players +dads army.
Sucken arze

Red alert, red alert, get you copy tomorrow hot of the press. The new book; "How to lose a game of AFL" written by the best in the comp at it.....the RFC...

Rich 49
Bris 42
It ticks me off how our first instinct is to handball.
-
Gordon on; Thomas off. Thomas hadn't touched the ball either so it obviously saved Titch.
-
What a surprise, long kick and goal, can't they see the difference, 20 handpasses vs 1 kick....duh!!
-
FFS REALLY, Gordon for Thomas and not Edwarts.... :banghead

Nice goal Cotch out of nothing :gotigers

Richmond 2.8 4.10 9.13-67
Brisbane 0.1 3.2 7.6-48
Goals: Riewoldt 4, Martin 2, Cotchin, Arnot, Petterd

4 points is all the RFC should take out of this game...IF they manage to hang on.
-
See what happens when you move the ball forward and kick it long......................... :gobdrop
-
Look out hawks, we're starting to click
-
Love the way Houli runs away from the man with the ball giving him a shot on goal
You'd think he would've learned from last week when he did the same thing
-
Don't panic guys, I think we might still be able to lose it from here. No doubt the game plan will be to play keepings off Brisbane and try to maintain our lead for 30 minutes.
-
See what happens when you move the ball forward and kick it long......................... :gobdrop
Still some pitiful defensive efforts - chasing them down on the spread, killing the contest when the high ball comes in, pressuring them in the middle .....
-
tempo footy here we come :clapping
-
Look out hawks, we're starting to click
Yeah, clicking our heels three times wishing we were back in 2013!
-
Newman so far playing his one "good" game for the year as I predicted.
Edwards actually won a holding the ball...that'll earn him another contract.
-
Newman playing his one "good" game for the year as I predicted.
That gives him another year on his contract

At least the Broadbeach Bullet has had a shocker

Apart from Cotch we are so poo at stoppages

Newman playing his one "good" game for the year as I predicted.

Oh look he's still a very important player for us....you can't buy the experience he brings to the side.....

It's a goal!

Yeah he really needed that goal to cement his spot against Hawthorn...........

Well he has just kept his spot for another 6 months... :whistle
Chuck the weirdo will be happy, as he felchers him.

Loving these commited slides of his that are pushing the pull into the path of Brisbane players every time.

Pettard has played well

Interesting..disposal efficiency for Petterd.

All these years and we still don't understand the rushed behind rule :banghead. Just rush it through Petterd as you were all under pressure ::).
93 - 56

Which wigger was that snapping away from our defensive line?

Gee Gordon has done is one qtr what it took Edwarts to do in 4...

I hate flash bogs. So sudden and dramatic

Lol see Grigg chicken out going back with the flight there. Any real man would have cut off J Brown.

Still Scrappy As!
-
Grigg Ellis conca Edwards.
Kill them
-
Nothing to get excited about, probably would have lost had we played any of 16 other teams. We show glimpses of the free flowing game but we are like a sputtering engine which is badly out of tune. Can't see us getting close to hawks or cats, not in the same league at the moment.
-
Grigg, Ellis, Conca, Shedwards, Morris had a stinker IMO.

Grigg, Ellis, Conca, Shedwards, Morris had a stinker IMO.
Houli
And Newman for me.
-
Far from convincing
-
Still only 8 goals in three first halves of footy, got to do something about that.
Disappointed with Ellis and Conca thus far, surely they have to produce something real soon. They can't keep playing like they are.
-
Woopy Doo we beat a bunch of kids by 6 goals lol. What a disgrace. They were missing about 10 blokes. Anyway the apologists will sing the praises of a great win when deep down we all know we played like Shi.te and we will get hammered agsinst the Cats and Hawks. We are going nowhere fast with this list of pretenders, they didnt even know how to put a group of kids playing in Lions jumpers to the sword. F.ucken Rabble.
-
I thought our skills were crap.I agree with some of the commentators who couldnt understand why we slow the game down.it just plays into the oppositions hands.
Although houli did some nice things I think hes now a huge liability down back.just gives his opponents too much room .Still worry about chaplain too
-
Go the mighty tiges !
We kicked their arse again. They haven't beaten us anywhere since Gough Whitlam was PM.
And this is for all you Carlton trolls on here....... Oh we're from tiger......YELLOW AND BLACK !!
suck it up troll boys...We won !
-
About as bad a 7 goal win as you'll ever see.
Don't be fooled, things are dire..

Did we really sing the song after that? :banghead
;D

Winning ugly isn't specifically a tiger issue, from memory the hawks struggled their way past the lions before winning by a similar amount.
Now we are not hawthorn but I'm pretty sure we can - and will - play better later this year.
I just hope that it starts next week ;D
-
On that we'll be 2 - 5 real soon

We badly need Rance,Maric and Lids back.
The Hampson pick up is looking more and more suspect by the day.
We just look like a rabble down back at stages, panicking under pressure from the Bears. Stupid get foot to ball as quick as can hack kicks out of defense. Just rubbish.
We also need Grimes to reach the potential he has shown. Need to get him to 80 games asap, so we have another good defender who can hit a target.
-
Couldn't agree more on grimesy..he just needs to play the whole season with no interuptions.just needs games under his belt

A win is a win and I LOVE winning no matter how it was achieved and I cheered my arse off and sang the song with my kids for the whole neighborhood to hear.
Yeah, sure we need to improve and we will play better through the year and will play finals as well, not on what we saw last night I know, but on what resources we have we will win a lot more games.
If the players can just stop dropping the friggin ball and clean up in different areas, we will make the finals again.

What a terrible performance by Richmond, one of the worst wins I have seen in recent times. Big problems at tigerland . I must admit I was hoping we'd lose so that we could keep the blowtorch on dimmer

You want keep blowing torch while on Dimma?
That's just weird man :-\

Why do you even bother to come on a Richmond forum when you clearly (what I read from this post and all of your other negative posts) HATE Richmond.
We really don't need people like you at Tigerland >:(

I never said it was a good performance did I.
People like you just don't get it.
REAL supporters have passion for their clubs and go to games and support their teams, they DON'T need people like you supporting so negatively ALL THE TIME.
If you saw the game, EVERY SINGLE Tigers supporter was up and about cheering and singing the song at the end of the game, proud to be a Tigers supporter, elated at having a win, THAT'S WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT!
It's not just this one post of yours that is negative, it's the way in which you... oh stuff it.....

Everyone wants the club to win the flag
There is disagreement in the manner they are going about it
No one doesn't support the club on this website

Give me a win over a loss any day, no matter how ugly
-
Will take the win.
Played good footy for about 45 minutes.
Still think more than anything it's above the shoulders with so many of our players
That and gifting games to the favourites of course ;D
-
Take the 4 points sure but we should have absolutely thrashed an undermanned Brisbane if we're any good.
They are the worst team in the comp.
Missed an opportunity to gain much needed percentage. Not much joy from that win at all for me.
I'm expecting a 10 goal loss to Hawthorn.
-
If this crap start to the season is temporary then I'll take it if it means coming home fast.Although we better turn this around asap

I NEVER stop believing until it's mathematically impossible.
But as one poster on here said, people like me who keep on believing clearly have their heads in the sand.
Of course it's hard to keep believing when there are so many losses and even when you believe, is it really belief or just blind faith for the love of the yellow and black that keeps driving people like me.
What ever the case is, I didn't post back on here at any time until we made the finals "or not" until it actually happened as I said I would.
I'm happier that we made the finals than to post on here that I FINALLY got something rite ;D

I say good for you mate, your optimism has finally been rewarded :thumbsup
I just hope you don't back horses.
:lol
It's far greater than optimism for me.
I spent many a year in pubs up in QLD back in the late eighties and early nineties and to walk into a rugby dominated pub with me Tigers footy guernsey on, brought more than a few looks.
Just to get a frothy from the bar was bloody hard, but always became increasingly harder as the nites went on.
Let me put it this way.
I ALWAYS STOOD UP for what I truly believed in, and that was my beloved Tigers, and nobody was gonna take that away from me, so getting into a few blues was pretty much the norm for many years.
I didn't win all those battles, but I bloody tell ya what, They all knew who the bloody Yellow and Black were.
:gotigers and stick it up em all :thumbsup
