Interesting that Benny Gale said the players at the time were supporters of Walls. It was others that undermined him with conspiracy theories accusing Walls of being a Carlton spy.
Benny Gale won't be sacking Dimma btw based on what he said in the interview. From personal experience he's learnt changing coaches prevented any momentum or continuity with the footy team in his time as a player. So he's learnt stability is the key to success.
