Let him off so long as he never plays for us again and he plays local footy fourths instead.

Might be the only way to keep him out of the side and give Griff a chance to settle into CHF.

 :thumbsup

I have been a supporter of Vickery in the past but enough is enough - he needs to be dropped and stay playing for the VFL until he consistently smashes it in the ruck. He needs to bulk up and become another Maric 'Crash & Bash' style ruckman. He hasn't the leap to become a tap ruckman and he hasn't the talent to become a forward. Out forward line doesn't work with Vickery, Griffiths and Jack.

If the MRP is the way to force this to happen then I think the Tigers should send in the evidence themselves.

If that was the criteria half our side would be going

Vickery would be leading the conga line of malaise.

Does that mean we can put him on the long term injury list and rookie Miles?

MRP has gone lenient this week. Dawes only got a week for his hit on Rance.

i keep seeing people say he can ruck. the opposite is true hes a failed ruckman with us. to play as a crash bash ruckman you have to have heart and and enjoy pain. it should be obvious to all by now hes a pea heart.
ffs hes the main reason why we went and got a mature ruckman. he just didnt come on. he was turning 24 he had some size he had played 80 odd games the first ruck role was his if he was good enough yet we went and got hampson to help maric.. ffs think about it.

as far as being a fwd goes i again ask how many 200cm players make good consistent key fwds you could count em on two fingers.

we lack a strong marking pack crashing hard working power fwd you know 195/100. we are screaming out for a 190/192cm 90kg jack gunston type.vickery fits neither bill and he never will.
we have three blokes in vickery mcbean and griffiths who are stuff types we really only need one two at the most. the club would be crazy not to look to trade one of them out.
