If Griff is injured, maybe Elton can have a run
-
So Forrito can punch Vicekry on the guts sending him to the ground before the game and it doesn't get looked at but Vickery gets 2 weeks for actually showing some intent (finally)
-

Serious question here. Is the likes of Elton, Mc bean and co. up to it yet? Have they done enough? Is this our problem when blokes who haven't torn the reserves apart get games in the seniors.
-
No issues with the outs, but was the Thomas one when Harvey went down only to bounce back when he realised he could get a cheap handball out the back?
-

Yeah but Vickery doesn't bleed because he's heartless spineless and gutless so you reap what you sow.Thank you MRP :clapping
Hmm blessing in disguise or just more of the same if Hampson and Grigg the Carlton Calamatous Cretins come back in. Let's just see how serious they are in selection this week. :help

They were always going to come back. For a start there's no way Softwick won't go into a match v Freo & Sandilands without two specialist rucks (watch him quote the second half hit out stats to back it up) and he won't pick Stephenson over the "prize recruit." At least now they'll only come back at the expense of other shyte players and not kids.

Happy with the suspensions
Although how on earth does Thompson get off is beyond belief
Surely intentional

medical report from the North Melbourne Football Club
Im fine with the suspensions but geez, what an arselicking rat club

Hope they fold. Brayshaw with his Eddie Wannabe ego stuffed this competition when they refused to go to the Gold Coast. Sick of subsidising the non-supported parasites. Still remember what that piece of poo Bob Ansett said about us during SOS.
-
Go with one ruck and play Griff. Why should Hampspud play.
Play anyone of Arnot, Helbig, O'Hanlon instead of Grigg.
When will this club learn? We aren't playing for finals then lets experiment and play the kids the worst thing we could do is unearth a few kids who will get 8-10 games of experience a tast of the big league and a hunger to build on that for next year.
Oh but we are the RFC where repetive failure is the norm and a finals campaign once every 12 years is the exception.

So do I but because we dish up crap we cop it from Hillbilly clubs like Nort and so be it.
We reap what we sow. Others beg for handouts and when in a position to dish out they dish out. All we do is talk the talk then talk the talk some more and then invariably when its time to walk the walk we simply take backward steps. Well you know we ask for it. It seems the only ones who think nothing of what's going on is the club itself. The club got us into this myre the club can get us out.
Why wasn't this crap occurring 40 years ago?
-
Can't see how Thompson got off, it was high, late, reckless, forceful impact and to top it off he never looked at the ball
-
Same old story we get bashed again by the MRP
Yet Thompson, Harvey, Firitto, Franklin, & others get off WTF they hate us
-
It seems that way

i agree play griffths in a pocket as stuff. bring in elton ffs the lad is 197cm and 100kg. hes a good grab and for his size he moves well. get some games into him and what an opportunity to do so.
play both arnot and helbig give em a go lets see what they can offer.
the other option is they drop griffiths as well play hamspud and elton. we were all complaining bitterly about continuing to give games to those who perform lousy. well griffo has been lousy.

If I were Matt Thomas, I'd fight it. Insufficient force for mine, doesn't look anywhere near as bad as Franklin's and he got off.

Yeah but it was the little sniper Harvey that he hit
Massive difference ;D

True, he should take it rather than risk 4 weeks ;D

If you are talking about the Thomas -v- Thompson and why one is 125 the other 80 points
One was classified under "rough conduct" (thomas) the other as a "strike" (Thompson)
Rough conduct has a higher points weighting, than a strike

I guess the question that I am now pondering is why?
Why would an actual strike be less than rough conduct?
Strange....
-
thats just mental
dont bump em, just punch em, you get into less trouble.
:lol
-
I am just glad Vickery was rubbed out. It means we don't have to suffer him in the seniors for the next two weeks.
-

Only thing I can think of is that rough conduct captures everything striking doesn't eg flapping point elbows
Also if you look at some of the ones they've grade rough contact eg the head high bumps have had nasty consequences
Also grade 1 striking is 80 points. The higher the grading the higher the points

Absolutely. They played them back to back on Ch7 and Franklins looked far very week. worse. Also Thompson whacks guys like that every week. He should be out for two.
They should suspend that little turd Harvey for staging.
-
Ballantyne just got off also. l don't understand this MRP & tribunal it's out of this world some of these decisions
-
would have thought we'd appeal Vickerys sentence.
2 weeks is not enough
