Title: RFC Mentoring Program
Post by: MintOnLamb on June 13, 2014, 10:12:33 AM
Older players mentoring and encouraging younger players etc etc.
Does this exist at RFC?
and if YES
Is it working/encouraged/a real program or just a token program?

It doesn't now

Needed it under Wallace because he rarely showed any interest in any player outside the top dozen or so.

Under Hardwick, if they're not a first rounder, star, established player, moneyball pick or recycled, they're left to rot until delisted.

That is very sad as all the top clubs seem to embrace this type of philosophy

People involved with the club at the time that I've spoken to beg to differ. Known fact he was like that at Footscray too.

Can say that he communicated well with all players
