Shocking and with inflated tyres as well

That was on the news last night and I thought - well, I won't tell you what I thought of that story :-)
But I think this should come under harassment legislation against the media
-

No Rohan Connolly's. Forced him to gargle at digit point. Throat still suffers from the aftertaste.
That's why this article was published. :help

Errrr Rohan was being sarcastic ;D
Story appeared in the HUN, Rohan was having a whack, perhaps got lost in translation :rollin
-
Can I ask why a speeding fine for 5km over the speed limit warranted a visit to the courts?
Is this story even true?

Goes to court if you don't pay the original fine ;D
and Yes it's true
-
I thought they had to allow at least 5% over due to inaccuracies in speedometers. I'd be mouthing off too if cops pulled me over for doing 105 in 100 zone.
Probably a Collingwood supporter.

Yeah they do, so the "adjusted" speed would have been 105kms
-
It's 3km they wave off to account for inaccuracies or 3% while going 100km/h or more in speed cameras and then you have to be going 3km's over the speed limit so the minimum that they can actually catch you doing is 6km's over the speed limit. So they would have caught him at 108-109 but taken off 3% and booked him at 105km/h

Richo: Herald Sun not fine with me

Richmond champion Matthew Richardson has given the Herald Sun a fair old blast for being too negative about AFL footballers.
You might think being inducted into the Hall of Fame would have mellowed Richo Man, but with the newspaper seeking to hang players for minor indiscretions, he’s become rather stroppy.
The terse Tiger was flabbergasted that a low-level speeding fine dished out to Richmond’s Dustin Martin last year made its way into Melbourne’s biggest-selling daily.
Speaking on Sports Today, Richo said the Herald Sun needed to pull its head in.
"I think the Herald Sun has lost the plot lately," he said.
"I'm just not liking the track that they go down with their insistence on trying to find little stories about footballers that are negative.
"Now this week it was Dustin Martin going 103 kilometres an hour on Eastlink. Now is that news? Seriously?"
And it appears Richo has an ally in Australian NBA star Andrew Bogut, who took to Twitter to vent his frustration at the same Herald Sun story.
He tweeted: "How this is news boggles my mind. Glad no one put a name to this in depth masterpiece - staff writers."
Bruce Eva nearly choked on his Weetbix when he read the news of Martin’s not-so-leady lead foot at the breakfast table. Exasperated, he turned to Mrs Beva and said: "105 in a 100 zone... on a freeway!"
3AW Football does not, however, condone speeding - even if it's just a touch over the limit.

how come the other 1 million speeders, some who have thousands in outstanding fines dont get mentioned.
-
One article says Peninsula Link and one says Eastlink but if it was Peninsula Link I bet he was one of the many geniuses that thought they could break just before the speed camera and never get caught (and pee everyone off behind them) but not realise Peninsula Link are point-to-point cameras ;D

Challenge in the high court imo.
