A man's got to eat - but when going out for a stroll with a lady may not be the best time.

Clearly retired AFL player Matthew Richardson didn't get that memo.

The 39-year-old, who is affectionately known as Richo to his fans, was spotted on Monday in south Melbourne scoffing down a piece of meat while his long-term girlfriend Genevieve Holliday was so embarrassed she walked behind him.
