I'm happy Moore has gotten a go. Time to play the youngsters. Given he is a rookie we must have AK on the long-term injury list and had enough money (both in reality and within our TPP) to promote him?

Tuck misses again  ???.

Great post Jackstar,

Fantastic to see Moore in the team, could be our new stuff for the next 10 years.

All the best Kelvin, Chaffey must be on his last chance surely. Tuck could come in and play his role across half back and provide good marking power.

How many good games has Blumfield played since getting back? And he's already near selection?

Agree.

The club rewards mediocrity !  Chaffey has been pathetic for the past 9 weeks yet gets a game.  Tuck does consistently well at Coburg and can't get a call up.  Agree that Tuck would add more value in Chaffey's position with his marking ability.

The sooner these clowns in the football dept are shipped off never to return, the better the club will be.

Rodan to get a go: Frawley

Richmond's pocket dynamo David Rodan will be given a great opportunity by coach Danny Frawley to re-establish a regular place in the team's best 22 this Saturday night against the Kangaroos.

Not only does Frawley plan to start the 20-year-old on the ground, the pacy Rodan will line-up in the heart of the action inside the Telstra Dome centre square at the opening bounce.

"It's a big game for our club and for certain individuals. When he's playing well, we need that injection of pace and enthusiasm and David brings that," Frawley said on Friday.

"Obviously Telstra Dome is a quick track. We've picked (Aaron) Fiora, Rodan and Kelvin Moore, who are probably our three quickest players on our list. You need quick players on this surface."

It is a reward for some outstanding form last week with the club's VFL affiliate Coburg, where Rodan kicked two goals and got a heap of the footy in what Frawley described as a best-on-ground performance.

"He had 30 quality touches and took the opposition on and that's what we want to see from David. We'll throw him straight in the middle tomorrow night and let him go for it."

The 20-year-old, who played 44 consecutive games after making his debut at the start of 2002, has been unable to cement a place in the team this year and hasn't strung together consecutive games since being dropped three rounds into the season.

"He's probably had to revisit a few areas of his game. He was able to do that in the VFL and get first hands on it and really play some exciting footy down there."
