Conca is most likely facing an enforced holiday so that will be at least one change.
Fire away ....
-
Surely the stage is set to release our beans.
-
Grigg in for conca after 36 possies at vfl, drop Gordo and Lloyd for Mcbean and donut
-
McBean won't be getting gig ...just quietly. No seriously, not an option
Grigg for Cpnca will be it
And perhaps if he's deemed fit Morris for Gordon or LLoyd. I believe Morris told a pre-match that despite his shoulder problems (admits needs surgery) what's to play out the season :facepalm
-
Mcbean kicked 4, surely he presents as a better option than Gordon

Just saying based on a what was said at a pre-match function, he isn't likely to play this year. Number of reasons, not enough beef on them bones, defensively needs to improve etc. Something I found interesting was that he hasn't done a full pre-season in his 2 years, wasn't aware of that.
-
Also, if the Club was fair dinkum, they would drop or seriously look at dropping Newman.
His lack of pace against the kids from the Giants shone like a beach today. Bordered on being really sad seeing him struggle the way he did
-
How about Newman retiring all together. Total passenger today, added nothing whatsoever.
Need to bring McDonough in for him. Enough of this charade. It's hurting us. Even Dea is another one who can more than adequately play IMHO.
Grigg will come in for Conca.
-
Tap Foley on the shoulder - he is cooked.
-
With talk of finals back again, it won't be a surprise if Dimma and the match committee decide to return to some of their 'old favourites'.
In: Morris, Grigg
Out: Conca (susp.), Gordon.

Agree but also think they might drop back Lloyd
Been very very ordinary 2 weeks in a row
Can't just play one good game in three at AFL

Thought he was one of our best yesterday.

Out: Conca, Gordon, Lloyd
In: Grigg, Morris, McDonuts

Out: Conca, Gordon, Lloyd
In: Grigg, Morris, McDonuts
:thumbsup
-
Lloyd is just so slow.has all the tricks in the book, but hes actually slower than matt Thomas I think
-
Outs- Houli, Gordon, Griffiths, Conca,
Ins- Dea, Morris, McBeam, Lennon
-
Out Gordon, Conca
In: Lennon, Arnot
-
What will happen:
Out: Conca
In: Grigg
I'd prefer Lennon as the in or McBean.
-
Grigg for Conca would be awful
-
Out Gordon, Conca
In: Lennon, Arnot
Lloyd should go before Gordon, he has been starts and not taken the opportunity.

.
Agree Don but at least if they drop him now, he may get the message and do the honourable thing and retire
Way it stands right now, they keep playing him, he thinks he's right to go in 2015.
Club needs to make tough decisions for next year, might as well start now at the selection table

Club needs to tap him on the shoulder and possibly offer a role off field with the ressies.
Anything else and it would be gutless by the RFC and selfish by Newy.
-
In: Hampson (Big game player).

Absolutely agree
But your last comment is the issue for mine.
Club it appears doesn't have guts and Newy wants to go on...clearly not a great combination

The Tigers have midfielder Shaun Grigg pushing for a senior return for Friday’s clash against the Bombers should Conca be forced to the sidelines.
Grigg impressed again in the VFL in his second game back from a hamstring injury on Saturday, amassing 36 disposals, 25 of which were contested, including 19 clearances.
“It’s a bit early to know whether he is in the frame, but given his form (Saturday) and even the week before he is certainly putting his best foot forward,’’ Richardson said.
“I saw most of the game and he certainly won a lot of the footy, won a lot of the ball, contested ball was quite high for him ... he has given himself a chance that’s for sure.’’
Meanwhile, Bombers forward Patrick Ambrose will miss one-two weeks after undergoing surgery to mend a minor fracture in his jaw.
Ambrose sustained the injury in Friday night’s loss to Sydney.

The Barometer - Round 20

RICHMOND
ON THE BLOCK: The Tigers are set to make another match review panel-enforced change with Reece Conca looking at a spell on the sidelines for his cheap shot on Devon Smith. Sam Lloyd is on thin ice after being subbed off for the second week in a row after again failing to hit the scoreboard. Nathan Gordon provided a spark when he came on but isn’t safe while Jake Batchelor did his usual low-key thing, collecting six disposals at 100 per cent efficiency.
ON THE CUSP: Shaun Grigg is the obvious replacement for Conca after another huge VFL game, collecting 36 disposals including an incredible 19 clearances. Liam McBean will again be in selection discussions after booting four goals; the coaches have demanded more defensive accountability so his one per centers might have more of a say in a potential AFL debut. Matt McDonough snagged three goals playing across half-forward and Matt Arnot was solid through the middle as the Tigers went down to Sandringham in a thriller. Ben Lennon missed out on footy at the weekend, he was over at the MCG on standby for the seniors.
AL PATON’S FORECAST: Richmond must now be ruing some early-season games that got away (Daniel Giansiracusa has a lot to answer for) but all they can do now is keep winning. Damien Hardwick seems to have been looking forward to this one since these teams last met in Round 11 — that game was over as a contest from about the moment Dustin Fletcher strolled down the wing to boot a goal 30 seconds into the game. Big crowd, plenty on the line — they aren’t the ingredients that have favoured the Tigers in recent times. This would be a good time to do something about that.

The Tigers will need to make at least one change with Reece Conca to miss the next two games for his crude elbow to the back of Devon Smith's head on Saturday. Steven Morris is listed as a test after missing on the weekend with a hand injury while Shaun Grigg is pushing for recall after a commanding 36-disposal game in the VFL. Matt Arnot is another who is in the frame after a few solid games in a row while Matt Dea was solid in defence in the VFL at the weekend. Chris Knights continues to build momentum after his horror run with a knee injury and is looking to play seniors by the end of the season.

Dea for newman would be good but will never happen
-
Out Gordon, Conca
In: Lennon, Arnot
Lloyd should go before Gordon, he has been starts and not taken the opportunity.
Agree Lloyd on thin ice but I would rather persist with him than Gordon.
-
I'd play Knights this week, add some poise and class.

Good call, TBR. Drop Lloyd for Knights.

hhhaaarrrggghhh i can see it now, too old too injury prone just another bloke taking games of those champion kids who cant find the ball when they get a game.
-
Going by what Dimma said today, Morris will be a definite in this week if he got through training today 100%.
-
Agree Don but at least if they drop him now, he may get the message and do the honourable thing and retire

You'll want to have a read of Dimma's presser today mate. Foley aint going anywhere. As close as I can remember the quote went something like " we're sure Foley's best football is still ahead of him "
:huh

Back to Foley if I may, maybe he is going to play ressies permanently and is expected to do really well there
