Newman - as big a Finals specialist as he is, he's a barometer for mediocrity.
In juniors one would relish a one on one with such a dud,
Grigg - Soft, outside, outsider footballer.
Such character goes missing, as in today
Morris - Tries his guts out but only has 50% skill level
Conca - just an idiot
-
Newman needs to do the right thing and change his mind.
Grigg can go rack 'em up in the reserves for a year until we can delist him. Nobody would want him.
Morris is a liability and has been for a few years. Let him emulate his old man's career by going to Collingwood and swap him for Goldsack.
Conca should be traded back to WA before they wake up to him. Becoming a Tamblingesque draft blunder.
Shankwards was exposed again today under real pressure - trade while he's worth something. (won't happen, but should)
Houli - see Grigg.
Chaplin, another with no value that we're saddled with -see Houli & Grigg.
Petterd - at best depth defensive medium forward who should never play behind the ball ever -and probably not on it that much either truth be told. I've always defended him but at the end of the day - don't really care either way if he's delisted.

Who did Grigg play on today?
Was it Wingard?

Pretty much the exact thoughts that I had after the game.
-
Chaplin is fine when the coach does his job.
-
He is not. he's a liability. A stooge.
Rance needs to do two people work weekly
-
Chaplin was shocking today, worst on ground
He's not a leaders arse, leaders lead men this guys couldn't s lease a horse to water.

Carried thru his 250th and beyond.

Could think of a few other worthy contenders for that title

Get used to seeing him a lot more next year.
The coach loves the dude.
Great servant of the club....blah blah blah.
.....meanwhile youngsters are underdeveloped in the magoos.
-
its always the usual suspects.
They never do a thing about it
-
Must say upset about the loss, but in a way it was good reality check for the club how far off we are from the top sides and need to improve and address certain issues.
-
King, jacko, gone.
Newman, a Edwards, hampson, often ashould be gone.
Ditto knights. Or rookie.
Thomas no good
Chaplin big handicap
Grigg terrible
Houli down hill skier
Pettard a nothing player really
---
Hardwick. Fail
Choco looks like he dngaf
-
Houli was far from our worse
-

per quarter

Thought Houli was good

Opposition side target his area coming out of defence cause they know he doesn't contest that well

What's the definition of insanity? Doing the same things over and over and expecting different results. The Tigers got off to a bad start with two crucial blunders yesterday. W
-
As I was saying before it cut me off. We made two crucial blunders:
Winning the toss and kicking against the wind :booboo
Playing Grigg as a tagger on Boak :banghead. I mean puh-lease!
Just 10 minutes of Boak being allegedly manned up by that soft tosser in place of a hard tag, and it was literally game over.
Seriously, Grigg couldn't tag an old pair of Levis hanging on a dead man's Hills hoist. Geez, I hope we wake up and de-list that useless tosser, and send Petterd and, Hampson packing with him as well.

Mark Robinson's view:
3. The future of some.
Finals uncover cracks and cracks become players. Hardwick will allow youth to feed off the experience, but he will have some concerns for Grigg (20 disposals, five contested), Foley (11 disposals), Newman (14 disposals), and Edwards just 11 disposals. He’s had a solid back end Edwards, but failed yesterday. Hardwick’s problem is deciding who to put a line through after yesterday. Am worried for Grigg and Foley to be honest.

Hardwick delist Grigg? :lol seriously we should be looking to trade this bloke to GWS. He's a massive dud
-
has newman relinquished his contract for 2014 yet or is it still all about him ?
-
Should not of re-signed Edwards or Newman, should Have Edwards, Grigg and Foley on the trade table... :banghead
As much as I like Foley, unfortunately injuries have curtailed what could of been.
Edwards at least would appeal to other clubs.
-
Houli was far from our worse
Yeah he was dreadfully good in the first quarter with his decision making. By the time he got over that the horse had not only bolted the whole farm had gone. :help
-
DELIST GRIGG!
-
DELIST GRIGG!
HE HAS A CONTRACT SO HE WONT BE DE-LISTED
-
DELIST GRIGG!
HE HAS A CONTRACT SO HE WONT BE DE-LISTED
GO THE GRIGGSTERRRRRRRRR
-
Trade Vickery to the Dogs or St.Kilda for picks. Throw in another half glass empty list clogger(s) that will get them competitive without improving them long term and we may get this over the line.
-
DELIST GRIGG!
HE HAS A CONTRACT SO HE WONT BE DE-LISTED
IN THAT CASE LET HIM ROT IN THE RESERVES UNTIL HIS CONTRACT EXPIRES!!! SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO DISGRACE A RICHMOND JUMPER AGAIN. I DESPISE HIM.

Go Rollsy.
It's funny coz it's true.

Totally Agree
Grigg,,,DELIST...GONE
Houli... DELIST/TRADE...GONE
Vickery...TRADE...GONE
Thomas...DELIST...GONE
Newman...Needs to RETIRE...Gone
Petterd...DELIST...GONE
Hampson...TRADE...GONE
Chaplin...DELIST...GONE
Conca...TRADE...GONE
All these players do not fit the right mould. No real skill sets, slow , unco-ordinated - they need to be moved on...
We need to be brutal to be better and start recruiting hard nuts. You wanna play for Richmond you have to start playing like a hardnut with the skill set to be able to dance around opposition players.
-
Sack some of the wankers at the club too
-
Houli was far from our worse
The last game doesn't matter so much
Over the course of the last couple years, for mine, houli is too squib like for the back line
-

Its a stuffin shame

Not defending Grigg coz I'd get rid of him too but it was Vlaustin who started on Boak. Grigg went to him once Boak had seen off Vlaustin. Made no difference.
As for those ragging out Matt Thomas. I was wishing very early on in the game that he was playing. Port sure as hell wouldn't have waltzed the ball out the centre like they did if he was in there.
-
Yep Thomas would of at least had a crack
Might as well redraft Tim Flemming
-
Yep Thomas would of at least had a crack
He would've got the ball going in our direction more than it did on Sunday. Probably wouldn't have mattered much though since our forward line was completely disfunctional. Some of that was a result of poor coaching though.
I think we only had one or two less inside 50s in that first quarter. Hard to believe I know but it's true.
-
The issue is
It should not be grigg and thomas (such selection issues at tiger land
Ideally it's grigg or Thomas. (Or better yet...

Just about every one of our inside 50 went straight to their spare man who just loaded up the slingshot and let fly

Yeh I know , it was hard to watch. Coaches and on field leaders didn't fix it. Game over.
-
How do they have a spare back when hardwick is playing a seven man forward line :whistle
-
People thinking Thomarse would've made a difference when two of the things that killed us were lack of pace and poor disposal. Not to mention the fact we were actually killing them in the clearances to start with, but giving it straight back. Yep Thomarse would've solved that problem. Funny stuff.
