When we first installed this forum a few months back it use to be a now out of date "Yabbse" board. As an option you could install an integrated chatroom (a chatroom that's part of the forum rather than an off-site chatroom linked to the site) by adding some extra files. The newer "SMF" boards apparently have the same feature but I'm still finding out about it (it's a bit more complicated  :-\ ) and as these "SMF" forums are "beta" versions (trial versions) we may wait until the final version is released (hopefully soon) before installing a chatroom. If that falls through then we'll look at linking an off-site chatroom. Apologies for the computer-speak  ;D .

I've been able to add the integrated chatroom to the site. BTW hi to fwoy who came in to say hello in the wee early hours of this morning  8)  ;D .

To enter: click on the chat image where it says "Chat Stats". Then type in your nic and in the Roomname box: One-eyed Richmond.

The chatroom works but there are a couple of bugs relating to the chatroom's "integration" with the site such as where is says there are people in the chatroom. Bare with us until these bugs are fixed. If you find the chatroom is AWOL for a period of time, it's us fixing the bugs.

We haven't decided on one. It would have to fit in day and time wise with the majority of people on the site so it would be good if people could post their preferred day and time in this thread and we'll go from there. As well anyone can post a thread at any time asking if anyone else wants a chat as the chatroom is open 24/7.
