Yes I wonder about that too. Taints the whole thing really, but they did spend years building that team too. I always wondered about the hawks of the 80s until I read they paid twice the salary. Basically they had an edge. Recently Brisbanes edge was the zone system to get them the 2000s premiership team. What was Geelongs?
