In 2015, Richmond will celebrate the 50th anniversary of playing home games at the MCG.
Richmond’s first home game at the MCG was in the opening round of the 1965 season, against reigning premier Melbourne. The Tigers lost by a goal.
Their first home win at the G was in Round 5 that season, when they defeated Hawthorn by 45 points.
