What are your expectations for Floss in 2015 and what would be a good year for him?

I expect to see a quantum leap in all those stats

x 2
I'll be very disappointed with anything less.

Have liked what I've seen of him this pre season , let's go Nicky V :clapping
-
I'm expecting big things from him because he's a first round pick.
Although my own confident excitement of any player doesn't mean it will always be manifested as in the likes of Sideshow Bob. :banghead
History tells us that coming to Richmond usually ensures the onset of acute Tigeritis™©® of some shape or form.
It takes a strong individual to overcome the ghosts that haunt the halls of punt road, however Im very confident this fellow will be a winner with us, let's hope we can keep him and reap all the benefits of an outstanding & successful career. :thumbsup

If he's kept in the backline, we still need to be patient with him. If RFC are going to adopt a Hawthorn-esque style of play ie. launching attacks from half back, and we want Vlastuin to be that general ala Luke Hodge, it will take him a bit more time to develop. Below for example are the stats for Luke Hodge
Games Kicks Hballs Disp. Marks Tackles G.B Clear. In50 Re50 CP UP 1%ers
2005 Hawthorn 21 16.5 11.1 27.7 5.3 0.4 0.7 2.8 0.6 1.3 1.2 0.71
2004 Hawthorn 15 10.6 5.1 15.7 4.1 0.9 0.7 3.7 0.3 1.2 1.1 0.27
2003 Hawthorn 15 8.1 4.9 12.9 3.7 0.7 0.7 2.6 0.1 1.1 0.9 0.27
2002 Hawthorn 15 10.5 5.1 15.5 3.8 0.6 0.3 1.6 0.4 0.8 0.6 0.07
I know a couple of Hawthorn supporters and they were crying out to have Hodge delisted because they thought what a waste of a #1 pick.
Of course if you stick him in the guts, he will get a lot more ball and as such you can expect/demand accelerated improvement and of course you would want him to join he 25+ disposals/match group of players. However as I'm not sure what Dimma's plans are with him exactly, if it's the coach's plan to have him be the next Luke Hodge, I would persevere with him a bit longer as his composure under pressure is fantastic for someone whom is only 20/21

Hopefully last night was a signal that Floss has got over his 2nd-year blues of last year. He was very good last night.
-
I'm not sure on his stats but as someone else mentioned his reading of the play was excellent. First to the ball often, and is starting to show some class instead of being simply industrious.
Could end up as a gun mid? Thoughts?

Almost my favorite player now.
The most fearless in the team and shows great poise.
Has leadership in spades.
Great pick by FJ. Credit where credit is due. Even at ?12 you still have to nail the pick.

Agree too
Was terrific last night

Would love to see him pass it to his mate Gordon! ;D
-
Played well and was one of younger second stringers that stepped up when the big names were held. Hope he keeps showing that sort of form because it will add a lot to our depth, something we need to take the next step.
-
Great game last night, love his attack on the ball and the way he reads the play. Needs to do this consistently and stamp himself on the AFL map.
-
This bloke's overhead marking, especially going back with the flight of the ball, makes him a huge asset combined with his fearlessness.
Rance must LOVE having this bloke down there with him...

Not only that but he is clean and fearless at ground level with multiple follow up efforts in the same play.
If we can clone this kid wow what an asset.
Leadership quality written all over this kid. :thumbsup

Vlastuin's post-match interview:
VIDEO: http://www.richmondfc.com.au/video/2015-04-03/round-1-vlastuin-postgame
* We knew that our game was good enough to win. The ball wasn’t bouncing our way and there were a few things we just needed to tighten up. The key message was not to panic and to just keep playing our way. To the boys’ credit, we did that very well. It was great to fight back.”
* Over the pre-season, running off has been a key target and just trying to get my possession numbers up. Also, I want to beat my man. I was pretty happy.
