3aw saying reports from the Richmond rooms are it's a serious knee injury :(.
-
Way he reacted and having done an ACL before reckon he knows he done his ACL
-
Yep
-
Hope its not an ACL. if so, will probably see more of McBean this year. Shocking for Ty.
-
word from ty saying its structurally fine. hoping for bone bruising.

Ty will be very lucky if it's only bone bruising.
-
3aw just said Vickery's "crunched" his lateral which would be good news and the best case scenario.
-
The fall look more lateral in nature which would lend weight to the theory its not the acl
-
Good luck TV
-
It looked like a medial meniscus by the way he hobbled afterwards.
-
The only downside for Richmond was medial ligament damage to Ty Vickery’s knee with the utility to have scans this week.

Richmond tall forward Ty Vickery has escaped serious injury stemming from an incident in last Sunday’s victory over Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
Vickery left the field in the second quarter after falling awkwardly in a tackle and was subsequently subbed out of the game.
He sustained minor damage to his ankle and slight bone bruising in his knee, but is expected to be on the sidelines for only 1-2 weeks.

Richmond Tigers greet good news on ruckman Ty Vickery
The Australian
May 26, 2015
A relieved Richmond greeted the news yesterday that scans had cleared ruckman/forward Ty Vickery of serious structural damage to his right knee.
Vickery was crunched at the bottom of a pack against Port Adelaide on Sunday and substituted off with what appeared to be substantial damage. However, Tigers general manager of football operations, Dan Richardson, said Vickery’s condition was diagnosed as bone bruising which could keep him sidelined for two to three weeks.
“It’s more positive than what it could have been, so he won’t miss a big chunk of the season,” Richardson said. “He could even be back sooner.”
Richardson said much would also depend on Vickery’s damaged right ankle, which he hurt in the same incident.

Bone bruising usually means he needs surgery but we'll do it post season

Bone bruising usually means he needs surgery but we'll do it post season
It will be listed as a 2 to 4 week injury for 8 weeks running first, then a TBC, then surgery.
-
Same injury as my son. He will miss at least min 4-5 back into full training
-

How does that work Dr Phil?

Needs a scope and will have it post season
-
It's all moot- The Beanie will keep him out for the rest of the year anyway. :shh
-
a scope for bone bruising?
lmao wtf would a scope do for bruising ?

It's a cover up. When he has a scope post season get back to me
-
a cover up for what?
-
a cover up for what?
Floating bone
-
a cover up for what?
Floating bone
So if he is out for 4-6 as a lot of pundits believe, why wouldn't he go in now and have it removed and still only miss 4-6 weeks?

Cos they haven't found the floating bone yet :lol :wallywink
-
Because they haven't operated (which is what they would do if there was floating bone that they couldn't find).
So them not being able to find the floating bone wouldn't be what delays the surgery...
-
I am starting to think that there's no floating bone :lol
-
floating bone?
so he broke his knee cap or something?
floating bone head me thinks

It was the floating bone that got bruised, that's why it needs to come out.
-
ah, now we are getting somewhere.

Bone bruisingin the knee is bullwhackers. Everyone know that there's floating bone in there they just can't see it on the scan
-
how did it get there Dr nancy?
-
how did it get there Dr nancy?
Well it happened cos he hurt it last time. This is like the third time hes done it so pretty obvious its floating bone that needs to come out
-
:lol

How do they know (or you) there I'd floating bone if it doesn't come up on a scan?

Never come up on scan does floating bone. Just look at Chris Knights, they didn't know until they went in. I'm speaking from personal experience, my knee was stuffed but nothing showing up on scan then had surgery and removed floating bone all good now. Like Vickery it kept going on me until the third time where I told them that I didn't care if their scan said bruising I know there's more to it so they went in and found the bone that didn't come up on the scan.
-
So you're guessing based on personal experience?
Which is fine except you didn't qualify your original opinion with this context

Not guessing 100% certain
-
I normally don't read your drivel Phil. But this is hilarious
-
You are all surgeons no doubt
-
i am pleased tyrone is not hurt seriously
-
a couple of years ago, after a game of footy my knee locked up while laying back and watching the cricket. turned out I had a torn meniscus.
Didn't need surgery and it healed itself with rest, therefore no one ever needs knee surgery

Morris should be relieved too because it was his (typical) stupidity that caused it.
