Haha Hurley ahead of Rance what drugs is he taking. Won't happen
-
Heard Lloydy on radio yesterday defending the fact that 5 of his defenders are in bottom 10 sides.
-
Rance and Martin
-
No Rance? LOL
-
Edwards, Tross, Martin all in contention
-
Newman
-
Rance is right now the best defender in the league.
Lloyd has no clue.
-
Lloyd today has added Rance (back pocket) and Titch (bench) into his All-Australian side.
So that's 3 Tigers in it now.

Titch AA? :shh
-
The flog probably meant Shaun Edwards from EffinScum
-
Dane Rampe lol. Butcher.
Hurley still in after a 50 point pumping.
-
We get 2 inclusions after a bye?
There is no doubt about Edwards now. He is being noticed alright.
-
Rohan Connolly has Rance (BP) and Houli (HBF) in his midyear All-Australian side ...

Rance & Edwards came into the side after Richmond's bye week? Whats up with that?

Word must've got to Lloyd that they both trained the house down. :shh

The AFL website has Rance (BP) as the only Tiger in their mid-year All-Australian side.
ALEX RANCE (Richmond)
Arguably the game's in-form defender this season, Rance has continued his All Australian form from 2014. He has played on talls and smalls and was even tried, albeit unsuccessfully, in the midfield, such is his versatility.

On the other hand, Lloyd this week has dumped Rance and moved Brandon Ellis to the bench alongside Titch.

thanks for posting that one-eyed :thumbsup

How is Dustin Martin not on anyone's list?
Dusty has had a an absolutely brilliant month but his start to the season wasn't great.
I'd go with the AFL version. I think too many of our Tiger players have been inconsistent to have too many in the AA side at the half way stage.
Rance is one who regularly delivers.
-
How is Dustin Martin not on anyone's list?
Has played 2 maube 3 good games this year. Just getting into gear now
-
He wasn't great against Carlton and Melbourne but since the Kangaroos loss I like that he has not dropped below 25 possessions a match but more importantly he's been moving the ball by foot a lot more (2nd in AFL). he's laying more tackles this year which is great also. and for me the most optimistic thing about watching Martin is that he can still improve.
So I think he deserves to be named in the 'mid year AA teams' If anything I think Brandon Ellis should be omitted because for someone who goes untagged and averaging almost 28 disposals this year, he's just not damaging enough. he did kick important goals against freo and port but realistically when Cotch, Martin, deledio and now Milo get a lot of attention, we need Ellis to be setting up attack and impacting the scoreboard and not just building on his resume
EDIT:that sounded harsh on Ellis. I think Ellis can improve also and I forget he's not even 22 yet. I think Ellis' next level of improvement is to make better use of the ball that he gets 27/28 times a match. ie kicking goals or score assisting.

When you consider he was taken pick 15 in his draft he's playing unbelievably well at this stage. From memory, the only bloke you'd argue you might rather have in your team is Wingard who went 6. Great work on that one RFC!
-
Very true, for pick #15 his return has been fantastic. I suppose it's because I've never witnessed RFC win a cup (I'm 28) the emotion can get ahead of me and I forget that in the 2011 draft, the only players your could argue that are better than Ellis is Wingard (although I would debate this because he was only great in his first year and he's only picking up form now) and Tom Mitchell whom we couldn't get as he was taken under F/S. Cam Ellis-Yolmen was pick #64! and whilst he's been good for the crows this year I wouldn't rate him above Ellis.
-
Lloyd finally has Rance at FB after dumping Hurley in his running All-Australian team. He's also included Jack this week but dumped Ellis and Edwards.

Jack and Rance still in Lloyd's running AA-team today.
No Deledio as "he had a quiet start to the year but he's past month and a half has been great". That might be because he had a calf injury early on, Lloydy :wallywink.

Jack dropped from Lloyd's All-Australian team. Only Rance left now.

Lol, how does franklin stay in?
-
Lloyds pretty quick to drop tigers isn't he? :rollin
-
why isnt jab watson in his team
-
Still only one Tiger (Rance) in Lloyd's weekly-running All-Australian team.
He was asked today why not more Richmond players and Lloyd responded, "Cotchin has been inconsistent this year and Deledio has missed too many games. Martin possibly but who would he replace from his above team as they have all been in stellar form?"
-
Gee I don't know Matty
But Mundy hasn't been stellar the last few weeks, actually the dockers have been off the last few weeks you twit
-
I'm surprised he hasn't got Heppell in there. Where is the love Matty? :wallywink
-
sok, they don't put us in when we are down, they don't put us in when we are up.. who gives a crap. As the saying goes, show don't tell. Show em on the field on the day.
-
Newman should make it as the selectors should pick him like our selectors pick him. It will help his family.
-
Where's big Ty?

Lloyd's latest All-Australian team:

He said Dusty is very close and Pendlebury is just hanging on.
-
Wayne Carey has two Tigers in his All-Australian team.
stuff: Alex Rance (Richmond) - Another who should go back-to-back in the official team. He's been just as good as last year, if not better. Probably only been beaten three times this year, which says a lot considering the guys he plays on.
Half-forward stuff: Dustin Martin (Richmond) – One of the reasons the Tigers are travelling so well. He just doesn't get beaten in one-on-one contests. Is second in the competition for kicks.
B: Heath Shaw (GWS) Alex Rance (Rich) Easton Wood (WB)
HB: Luke Hodge (Haw) Michael Hurley (Ess) Bob Murphy (WB)

Great effort Lids!
Wonderful stuff!
When was the last time 3 tiges made the AA?
-
Dusty was stuff imo.
Well don't to the other lads, much deserved.
-
When was the last time 3 tiges made the AA?
1980 - Lee, Jess & Raines.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All-Australian_team#1980
-
Well done boys!
Deledio played 3/4 of the season and probably 3/4 of that as half forward kicking 29 goals.
Imagine when he plays 22 matches as a half-forward! That's exactly where Deledio should have been playing throughout his career!
Well done Jack! 2010 & 2015.
Rance, well he is the best defender!
and people think we don't have the players? please ...
Martin wasn't stiff at all as he needs to kick more goals if our coach actually realises that!
Martin can thank Hardwick for the miss selection!

Be interesting to see if Lids finally cracks Sheehan's Top 50 this year. Pretty hard for the flog to keep him out now.

Its robbos now, and robbo didn't have rance in his 50 at the start of the year IIRC. :wallywink
-
Great to see Jack there :cheers
Some People on this forum call him a flog, kind of ironic really :snidegrin
He's become the modern forward, creative, clever while also retaining the ability to be a spearhead when required :clapping
-
haha did you see who the selectors where? Just a few ex tigers in there lol

LMAO. I don't have stuff anyway mate! ;D

Well done to the lads. Riewoldt and Rance very well deserved. I didn't think Lids would make it for not playing 22 games but as he is vital for the team to be competitive i think his selection is justified.
