Title: Crazy Trade Idea #2
Post by: mightytiges on September 21, 2005, 05:14:31 AM
Would there be any takers if the following trade was put up to get us a young KP defender?

Cole wants to go to Essendon but the Bombers must find a first round pick from somewhere if they don't put up their first pick for trade.

Collingwood: lose - Cole; gain - pick 8.

Essendon: lose - Kepler Bradley; gain Cole.

Richmond: lose - pick 8; gain Bradley

Couldnt see Essendon trading away Bradley

Also very much doubt that we will trade our first pick unless it involves us getting another one in return somehow.

I don't think the dons will be shipping Bradley for anything.

Yes :lol

Sheeds in the past has tried for the ridiculous trade. He tried to get Scott West for peanuts and the bullies told him where to go; he snagged pick 6 for Danny Jacobs the year before :o; and offered only 3 draft spots higher for Zantuck but Miller went into the wrong room to get back at Sheeds lol. About time someone tried to get one back even if Bradley is wishful thinking.

The Dons weren't able to score a trade last year because every other club had woken up to Sheeds' trade trickery so there'll be plenty of pressure on the Bombers to trade this time around.
