Now that Jason Castagna has been upgraded to the senior list wonder if he will be one of the ins this week?
Playing on Sunday means extended bench and more "Ins" than "Outs"
Will know in about 15 minutes ;D

Is Hampson still a good player?
He is better than Morris to date, in fact, Hampson is better than Morris when he is out injured, that's how good Morris is going!

Reeks of a conservative coach that is crapping himself that we will lose this one. Seen it before from SuperCoach so no surprise. He is not the answer and not what we need leading this club
-
Well, they elevated Thomas earlier this year, so what did everybody expect? He had to be played at some stage to justify their decision.
They feel they need to win the contested ball to get it moving our way, so that is why they have selected Thomas IMVHO.

probably right on thomas.
the list of average clearances for the year (for us)is an interesting one. Theres a kid who gathered a heap in his limited games but just keeps getting overlooked or dropped after 1 game the few times he plays.

Thomas :facepalm.
The Suns main strength is their midfield pace. They want a soft, bruise-free open game where there's plenty of time and space to run. They don't want to play an opposition that closes down on them quickly so they can't break out into space. Knowing this, we bring in someone who is slow as treacle defensively and offensively, can't kick and hit a target to save himself :banghead.
-
Their kids will have a field day. Hacks, old hacks, slow hacks, old & slow hacks v young guns with nothing to lose.

Who?

McDonough?

Maybe if donuts lost some weight and could run out a game they'd consider him more often.

UNREAL. Morris, watch him fall all over the place, give free kicks away and turn the ball over.

Poo house selections.
McBean and Dea should be in.

Thought you were done?
All jokes aside you are probably right to a degree.

Typical crap. Absolute crap. Are we tanking
-
McDonough?
Was thinking that it might be him.
UNREAL. Morris, watch him fall all over the place, give free kicks away and turn the ball over.
Watch his opponent kick at max 1 goal for the game
-
Dea should be in.
There's a reason he isn't getting a game and it isn't through lack of form :shh
-

he runs out vfl games ok
players need a chance to settle into the senior team. he had 8 clearances in one of his two games for the year and was dropped the next week.
dropping them after 1 game is simply setting them up to fail, which you sometimes wonder is the agenda.
-
Isn't Dea leaving football at seasons end to be a fireman? If that's the case then we shouldn't be playing him
-
Lets count how many times Morris falls on the ground today as he is out on the ground. l say 1 time.
-
Seeing that team up on the tv screen and I have no idea what goes though the selectors heads. Don't like the changes and starting bench at all.

why miles named on bench?
-
Miles has been way down the last couple of weeks, I recon he's either carrying an injury or is playing very sore. I think you'll find Thomas was brought in to release some of the load on Miles and the fact he was subbed out strengthens my suspicions👍
-
:(

:(
I don't think its a bad thing, let's get him fresh for finals.
The dude is seriously as hard as a cats head, he's one kid that can make a huge difference come finals time.

The dude is always sore after the way he plays, acquaintances of his family and he is often hobbling around a day after the game. But saying he is way down past couple weeks is plain wrong, led the way in contested possies and clearances last week (adelaide), week before (hawks), not far behind in hawks (2nd and third respectively) and been there abouts in the previous games before that. Don't forget he was best on against the hawks two weeks ago and in the bests in the adelaide and freo game.

Don't get me wrong, I thought his two best games for the season were the Freo and Hawks games.
He has been far less noticeable the last couple of weeks and I don't blame him!!
I was just saying I believe Thomas was brought in to give him a chop in with the hard in and under stuff to help ease Miles's workload before the tough games start again.
-
Agree with Louis.
He was down against Crows and Suns compared to his usual high standards.
-
He will always be sore as he goes in without fear consistent

He was down against suns I can't deny that but I don't agree with the sentiment he's been down the past couple of weeks. He just keeps plugging on with no fuss. If anything he was quieter early on in the year.
Hopefully we did bring someone in to ease the load but I really wish it was someone better than Thomas :-\

Our whole team was down against the Crows so that makes two in a row for Miles - i.e. " he's been down for a couple of weeks"
He was awesome against the hawks but that is three weeks ago.
It's pretty simple

Disagree with him being down against the Crows, just most others were so he looked worse because his hard work inside was being let down by others. Pretty simple really

OK. Agree to disagree then.
