Do we are don't we???
:gotigers
-
i would rest the guns
-
its not really 'tanking'
squad rotation, really, given ladder position
if you look at association football or some other sports, to play your best side every week is seen as a bit weird
-
Although it is highly unlikely, we are still a chance of falling out of the eight and also making top 4. I would go hard and pump Essendon, see what pans out and make the decision to rest players against North. We never beat them anyway
-
No. We want our elim final to be at the G.
-
If anybody is sore I would consider resting a few VS Essendon, and using the sub-vest to do the same.
Also I would play Hampson VS Goldstein. Give Maric a rest. Goldstein would likely murder him anyway.

Whatever happens round 23 our final will be at the G.
The AFL would be stupid to schedule us at Etihad with two Perth finals on the cards and having the leagues number one team for crowds not maximising the G. :thumbsup
-
Not now. Hardwick has his team up and running and that's how it needs to stay. No experiments now ... just stay on a roll. :gotigers

you dont stuff with form, specially leading into finals.
this idea is just bent, but considering the
op has argued constantly about going down the same path as Melbourne it is no surprise.

Listening to Sam Mitchell on on of the shoes this morning and he said there tough run into the finals last year (Freo, Geelong and Collingwood in the last 3 rounds) put them in good steed for their finals campaign. He said you realy need to be playing competadive matches at that time of year.
I think the North game will prove pivotal for us and will hopefully set up our finals campaign.

Your a grumpy bitch this weekend.

Just saw/spoke to Miles. Bloke looks sore as. Walking slowly and cradling his right arm.
Inside blokes like him could do with a rest IMO. Play Thomas instead for a week VS Dons.

No. We want our elim final to be at the G.
Out: A.Miles - general soreness
-
We are not good enough (yet) to rest players, we need to keep a settled lineup and fine tune for September
Or to out it another way this:
you dont stuff with form, specially leading into finals.

Miles is the only guy I'd rest. Has looked real sore the last few weeks.

We won't be resting anyone
Very important we keep momentum going
We ain't 3 games clear on top of the ladder

Agree, never flirt with form. We're not that good.

Let's pray for a miracle and hope Saints beat Swans and we keep winning
Need to try and finish 4th
First final in Perth then anything could happen
Dare to dream

I don't think the Saints beating the Swans is actually unrealistic!! They will be pumped after their effort against the Cats and I really think they can do it. The Swans will be thinking they are the best after a win over GWS...
