They aren't tanking and it's a tactic that's been used before on the eve of the finals

where the same teams we're playing each other in consecutive weeks? To determine a home final?

If one of their VFL players takes out one of our mover/shakers and they miss next week then all hell will break loose. Imagine one of their fill in players basically takes Lids head off and sacrifices say a 4 week stint on the sidelines next season but the upside is they meet us with a depleted line up the first week of finals. From a technical standpoint it might be above board but ethically it opens up one massive can of worms as far as i am concerned.

Even though we get a home final. Their tanking also denies Adelaide a crack at a home final so the integrity of the competition has just ben shat.
Nought. That's what that footy club stands for and that's how much integrity the AFL has to ensure a bumper elimination final crowd next week at the G.

I would target Atley as well. North were losing games earlier due to lacking leg speed, especially from stoppages. They improved with adding the likes of Atley who have leg speed and line penetration.
