Just think Astbury would be a perfect fit for the lions.

Helps that Leppa rates him  ;D

Yep, all over this kid. I remembered we tried to get his old man over in the 80s without success - this would be nice.

We could ask the AFL to create a new rule:
The potential Uncle who never played - nephew rule!!!

Yes it is.Us failing to convince Michael Aish to come over is something that I place amongst the things or signs that our club was on the downward slide. Michael Aish was a great player and its a tragedy that we could never get him into a Richmond jumper. I am unsure if James will be as good as his uncle but I know that maybe for Karmas sake that it would be good to finally get an Aish into a Richmond jumper. I am a yes to James Aish. It just seems right.

We'll get pipped at the post by Hawthorn or St Kilda or some other club.
Or we simply just won't go after him.

Instead we'll get a Blair Bargain Basement Beauty

Dennis Armfield
Jake Melksham
Kieran Harper
Simon Minton-Connell

Woo hoo. First week elimination final loss 2016 or bust. :-\

Agree, if Collingwood get them both then they should be investigated. I know there is the flexibility of trading future picks now but I'd love to know why every man and his dog want to go there and what and why the original club is compromising since they clearly won't be getting the best deal.

Probably more like some handy under the table specials from the sponsors and other third parties.
