High ratings means more Friday and Saturday prime time games for us.

It's about time we bend AFL house over, they know where their bread is buttered.

no one bends over city hall. the smart clubs stay on the good side of city hall and that's what we should do and they will look after us. Richmond should focus on winning tomorrow and going as deep as we can in finals. then pick up a couple of decent players for next season and roll the dice.

You don't think Edwood bends over AFL House.
Wow they get a good ride.

Collingwood are a big club they also had an excellent period under Malthouse, that's why the got the fixtures they got. We will get really good fixtures as long as we can continue to impress and keep improving.

Agreed. Once Collingwood under Malthouse made the GF in 02/03 he could bend over city hall how he wanted given Brissy and Port then Sydney and West Coast were winning flags and they were the only big Victorian team flying the flag in the heartland with Essendon being mid range and us and Carlton being out of sight with the Blues still playing home games at Optus Oval.

What this new TV rights represents is a chance for us to go as deep into September as possible this year and for the next few years at least, provided we can keep improving and winning get the most favourable draw where our only commitments at Etihad may be away games there and possibly a home game versus one of the new franchises given Collingwood have missed the finals two years running and Carlton and Essendon are way off at the moment.
