Yes he does, will be a crowd favourite too. But still has a way to go before elevation.

Agree WAT.
Chol has the "X-factor" and some of his cameo moments tonight were exciting but he's still very raw. What you'd expect from a newbie rookie. He's only played at NEAFL level so he'll need time to develop and build up his body. If he ever turns these cameo moments into mostly-full AFL games then he'll become scarily good.

I think the Sudanese (or other African) community should be where we focus our efforts in trying to develop young impressionable boys away from potential careers in basketball or soccer and harnessing the raw talent & athleticism for Aussie rules.
I saw some promising things in a nab game but let's not go "Justin Plapp" on this kid just yet.

Would rather blood Chol and finish 8th than second rucks Hampson, Griff etc and finish 6th. Not that there would be that much difference.
If anything Chols endurance got him early. But cleaner hands and greater leap. May Hampson better tap work but meh play Maric

Gonna go alright if he sticks with it. Got some good instincts and is not unco for a tall. Pro moves.

The Sudanese-born big man appeared a development pick for the Tigers when he was selected at No.30 in the rookie draft. But it appears that Chol could be capable of playing some AFL football this season. He showed some great signs up forward against one of the best defences in the AFL. He took three marks and snapped a goal at ground level. He also threw his body around, laying a heavy bump on Lee Spurr in the first quarter.
