Let him ruck all night. Good one.
-
Reckon he had a dip tonight
-
I can't stand the Spud but he had a dip and showed GirlGriff how to attack the footy. His second efforts were good all night.
-
Shame megan is not very good
-
Competed tonight, looked sore all night but stuck at it. That's all you can ask
-
Good in the ruck but hopeless going for goal
-
Dud. Dud. Dud. Duddddddddd
-
The fact that he's our only ruck option is just a bloody mind boggling mystery.
The fact that he was better than GirlGriff tonight says a lot about the girl.
-
I thought he was okay tonight.
How we didn't go for Jonathan Giles or Scott Lycett IMHO is a mystery. :help
-
Reckon he had a dip tonight
Agree, he's an awful footballer but put in 100% tonight. Not his fault he isn't up to it. Did some good things. Not our worst.
-
Ran under the ball on that last kick into the square and then had a half hearted fairy slap at it that missed. Spud!
-
Yeah for once he looked liked he'd actually played the game at some point in his life before.....
.....was still arse though and absolutely pathetic in that last contest that led to Grundy's matchwinner...
-
For stuffs sKe guys listen to yourselves.
The guys a stuffn spud.

Agreed. Thought he was one of our best. Killed Grundy in the tap outs and worked hard.
Scary when he is one of our best though.

Reckon he had a dip tonight
Yep he did
But 2 shots at goal and misses them all :banghead
And he still offers very little around the ground
And in the 3 minutes hell. ..welll just watch the last contest before Grundy's soft goal... that sums up Hampson

Agree, but credit where its due. He was pretty decent last night in fact some of his ruck work was as good as any you will see. Took a few marks found a bit of ball and competed all night.
Made a few mistakes but apart from that his game was pretty good.
Is that saying we should not look for other ruckmen ?of course not. Its just an acknowledgment of a decent game.
He will go against a pretty good one next week in Jacobs lets see if he can show some consistency and play another decent game.
-
For a ruckman carrying a injury, He played a good game. His 2nd & third efforts were good. There ruckman has good agility & got around the ground much easier then our injured ruck. He done triple to what nowhere man Griffiths done. Wife said who is the one wearing the helmet. l said that was Griffiths the player who is a danger to himsrlf. :snidegrin

It's hilarious that we can praise a "special" type player like the spud for actually doing what he's paid to do as the basic bottom line standard that's required for an AFL ruckman. It reveals more about the lack of high standards we have (Tom Derrickx).
That's his 1 good game per year. If the planets align we might be lucky and he has another one soon. :lol :rollin
-
such a spud
we are going to get molested in the ruck every week
-
Hey mods any chance of a merge on this thread?

Played 17 games for Richmond . We have only won 6 times with Hammer in the team @ 35 %.
Fair to say the selection of Hamspud makes the tigers play like a bottom 4 team.
