When you lose by 100 points it's a player issue.
When you lose by 1 point it's a coaching issue.
Blame bad kicking all you want, blame mistakes, blame injuries and depth. Collingwood kicked poorly too and had injuries to key players.
At the end of the day our players have started the season lacking confidence, lacking cohesion and a killer instinct. You can have the worst tactician in the world but they can still instil confidence, unity and desire to play their natural games.
Happened on half a dozen occasions where players marked inside 50 and looked to pass or passed it off. Must be driven by coaching staff, can't be a coincidence. Pathetic off season by the coaching staff and list management team again.

Another famous saying is bad kicking is bad football.
Missing so many goals from within the "Vee" inside 50 is amateur hour :banghead. Likewise is missing open targets in field play under no pressure. At the end of the day, the players are responsible for schoolboy skill errors. We choked and threw the game away :scream.

Absolutely spot on. Coaching staff don't miss set shots constantly. So many errors last night its hard to look at only one but what was Vickery thinking......go back and kick the goal! Why did Houli run past Grigg for the handball receive and blaze away from 55m out.....run down the clock. It goes on and on, so many errors. I will agree we are flat and have many players out of form. Hunt, C.Ellis, Griffiths, Vickery, Miles and Hampson need to lift and lift fast.

Yep the Vickery one was a shocker
Outside of probably being our best set shot for goal, Tyrone's field kicking is not that of flat kicks lace out to his teammate. His kicks are mostly floaters so that was just dumb or as coach would say "unintelligent footy "
