1 Giants
2 Collingwood
3 Geelong
4 St Kida
5 Sydney
On current form - No.
Is it even worth winning another game ? Perhaps it's in our best interest to manufacture a finish below Carlton and the Gold Coast.
We can easily finish 14th or 15th.
A 7-15 season is about what we deserve in 2016. Its been a terrible year.
-
About the only thing to look forward to is the draft, whats number 2 and number 3 pick shaping up like?
-
Would like to beat the Pies - could not care less about the other games
-
Carton play Essendon and Brisbane in the run home .
They have been better than Richmond this year and deserve to finish above us.
Gold Coast play Essendon so they could end up being equal with us.

Ellis mk II and MK III

Never underestimate other clubs manufacturing a good run home where they 'manage' their players to give them as little chance of winning games as possible. Will be very interested to see how carlton and the gold coast go for the remaining games - on form youd expect them to win a couple more but...

Can we bank the pick until someone decent is in the job?
-
it's in our best interests NOT to win another game this year. no reward for finishing well & ending up 10th or something
-
Seriously doesn't matter
Why ?
We don't get the draft right anyway
-
need to follow Melbourne's lead.
They showed the football world the benefits of deliberately losing
-
When Vickery & Houli come back we'll win them all by 10 goals.... :gotigers
-
Not going to Canberra to see a loss and always want to beat the Pies (We owe em one) but yeah meh
-
Hope we don't and I hope the Blues finish above us, at least we will get pick 5.
-
The blues will have gone past us

Does anyone had anymore

For a "top 4" team as we were touted being by many including the club, finishing 5th from the bottom see's many clubs that have passed us this year.
-
I am a positive person but
While I (Dimma) was looking in the rear view mirror, then looking at the best list I have had at my time at Richmond..........
I was passed by 9 clubs!
Hardwick you have had free rein for 7 years, admit it, you are no good.
The players don't like your game plan, the supporters don't like your game plan, your recruiting is woeful, your player development is disgraceful, you have failed to deliver us a finals win.
Time to fall on your sword.

I think that was mainly you and your mate
-
I hope not, if we do the right thing and give the kids ago we will be lucky to win one

Go look again sunshine, you will find it was most of the team, the coaching staff and the board.
Was also said and expected by most on this forum

I don't think he will fall on his sword and given what Gale is saying he won't be sacked either. With him still at the helm the despair at the club's plight is only going to get worse.

not a chance in hell

The sad thing is it's not tanking ...
-
Camboon is correctomundo. Get games into the kids. See who can play, see which of these lazy senior pricks actually want a job next year.
-

Yes, tanking has worked out so well for Melbourne and Carlton this past decade...

You could argue that tanking is starting to pay dividends for the Dees now.
-
Dunno about tanking but I'd be giving Cotchin, Rance, Deledio, Martin & Riewoldt early marks for the season and having a look at as many players as possible....
-
No we won't. It's going to be an ugly last 4 games :help.
The only 'positive' is we lost 4% thanks to yesterday's pathetic 'effort'. We're now only a game and just 2% ahead of Carlton and Gold Coast. Carlton plays Brisbane and the Suns play Essendon in a fortnight's time. So we're a realistic chance to fall to 15th and end up with pick 4.
-
Agree. He will continue to rely on his favourities thinking they will rescue him. He won't take chances. He will stick with the game plan. It is going to become very ugly if significant change is not made.
-
Keep testing the list, it's going to be painful but Richmond need to see who has the ability to make it and the courage to play to the best of their ability even though there is little chance of winning
Terrible culture at Richmond, they don't tackle and shepherd, that should not be tolerated as not playing to the best of your ability
I can accept being beaten but giving up is unacceptable

How do you test the list?
Try anyone up forward, they won't get a touch, it's not really fair.
-
Hate to say it BUT, don't think we will win another game, when Ess beat us it will be meltdown for Dimma

? We play Essendon 3 times? ;D
-
it's in our best interests not to but we need to be competitive....

Yes! ;D
But it'll be back to reality next week against Geelong :outtahere
-
Throughout the last half of the year I've been content whether we lose games in order to get draft picks or win with kids but I genuinely don't want to win this game. What's the point? Absolutely none (much like the other games lately). But I also think if we win this (first time against Geelong in how many years?) then Dimma and everyone at the club will be getting pats on the back for breaking a voodoo. I want us to smash Geelong next year as we push ourselves into a top 4 position and a grand final appearance. Beating them will mean nothing if we aren't having a positive year
