Here we go again, all the talk around about major list changes, chasing and apparently getting Prestia, Vickery leaving.. bla bla bla. Next will be the "big fish", "warchest" coming out. Aggressive trading and recruiting will be used as our catch phrase again, no one is safe, Richmond linked to every player......etc
I want to see it this year or stuff RFC.
Oh and before you reply with your usual non topic based crap chuck, yes marge with the "sack Hardwick thread".. :whistle

They have no idea about recruiting
Why bring in " two " stoppage players in Moore and Townsend when everyone knew at the end of last year that they game was moving away from stoppages eg reduction in interchange , deliberate out of bounce etc

I don't think you can say 'we don't need stoppage players because the game is moving away from them'. Its a cheap shot. There are still an average of 50 stoppages a game, sometimes up to 90 in some games. And its still important to win your fair share. Criticise the actual players recruited (looks like they won't be the answer, I agree) but to say that they are clueless because they targeted a couple of stoppage players is disingenuous. Don't forget we have also recruited Yarran, Markov, Rioli, Short, Castagna for outside run as well.
My beef is not so much in approach but in talent ID and possibly development. Hard to say from the outside re development. Tipping there will be changes in personnel in recruitment and in process for how we develop players.

My problem is listening to all the talk again but come the trade period we do nothing..
