Club lost a litle piece of its sole when he was shipped off to South Melb as part ot the Pitura deal.

Was not the greatest footballer but was one of the first really big guys to play. At 6ft 6, he was a rare breed. He did all the little things well. Never pretended to be skilled. His greatest feature was that he was a great club man, much loved by his teammates. That is why a bit of the club died when he was traded.
