Title: AGS 1st footy players
Post by: bluey_21 on December 31, 2005, 12:52:14 PM
The AGS competition has produced some quality players (Silvagni being one big name) and i was wondering if any of you know of any up and coming 1st players. Two players i know are from my school Marcellin.

Ryan Anderson, who is an absolute gun, good skills, footy smarts, and his greatest attribute explosive pace!!! He missed being drafted this year, but IMO a definite chance of being AFL-listed next year (if not rookie list).

James Tantis-Hall, a tall CHF/FF who is well built, good pace/skills and can absolutely dominate a match (in one game he had over 30 disposals and 9 goals) but he has some question marks over his off field behaviour and attitude (think Alex Gilmour).

Anderson will probably get rookied next year but his too short to be drafted!

RB your right there, he's about 174-176 cm so if he were to make it in the big time it would probably be as a small foward. But saying that he could certainely grow another couple cm and be tall enough to be considered a small midfielder like Murphy or Foley.

Murphy is 179cm and Foley was picked up in the rookie draft!
