Post by: one-eyed on October 17, 2016, 03:50:32 AM: PORT ADELAIDE ruckman Matthew Lobbe may still emerge as a late call to Richmond if the Tigers cannot move on young Sydney ruckman Toby Nankervis.

But Lobbe, who has a three-year contract to carry in his trade, will not find an offer from West Coast that is weighing up the option of trading for Nathan Vardy at Geelong or Western Bulldogs ruckman Will Minson.

The story that has sprung up over the weekend is the future of Port ruckman Matthew Lobbe.

The Port Adelaide ruckman, whose stocks have plummeted the last 24 months has been linked to Richmond if the Tigers can't secure their first choice, Sydney's Toby Nankervis.

Amazing to think the Bulldogs were right into Lobbe 12 months ago. [ed. offered a first and second round pick]

We wait to see what happens to Lobbe and whether, come 2pm Thursday, he is still a Port player.
