According to the bookies it will go something like this
GWS
Bulldogs
Sydney
Adelaide
Geelonge (handing us pick 14)
Hawthorn
West Coast
Melbourne
----------
St.kilda
Essendon
Port Adelaide
Collingwood
Fremantle
North
Gold Coast
Richmond (pick 3)
Carlton
Brisbane
Thoughts? What's your prediction?
-
Too soon.
But if Jack or Rance go down we are in deep deep poo.
-
GWS will win though.
-
Wait and see what impact the Prestia/Caddy combo will have . Might refresh the whole playing group.
We could possibly win 10 games and have a percentage in the mid 90s - wont be enough to save Dimma though.
-
We'll make the 8.
-
I can see Geelong and Hawthorn falling out of the eight.
-
I can't see the team that can't win without Deledio winning many games after trading him away.
Would like to see more development of our kids. Cellis to step up, Rioli to dazzle. Oleg "the gazelle" Markov to have a big year.
I see that 8 as something like:
GWS
Syd
Adel
WC
Dogs
Hawt
Geel
Freo (BIG inclusions in the off season, plus Bennel to get out on the park - can see them bouncing back)
Throw in St. Kilda and Melbourne to threaten
Unsure on Port and Essendon.
The rest will be making up the numbers.
-
gee its early bit ud have to like the way saints are going to make a push for the top 8
GWS
Sydney
Hawks
West Coast
Tigers (should get a nice draw)
Dogs
Saints
Freo
Crows
Geelong
Port
Melbourne
Essendon
Carlton
North
Collingwood
Gold Coast
Brisbane
-
We'll make the 8.
Massive call. Bloody helll.....
-
Hopefully high enough to keep Martin & make Fyfe think we're going places....preferably on the back of a late run under McRae or Caracella... :shh
-
I can see Geelong and Hawthorn falling out of the eight.
Yep
-
I can see us finishing 5th or 6th
-
I can see us finishing 5th or 6th
Pass me what you're having please
-
It will take a while for the three new guys to adapt to chipping sideways and sitting off the ball.
-
Depends who's going to kick all the goals as l still think we have a major problem up forward.. We need to draft a forward maybe John Butcher :snidegrin
l would like to think 7th
-
Doubt we will finish below North.
-
i think Melbourne are a lock to make the 8 next year. I have been impressed with the type of player they have brought in lately.
Unfortunately I don't see us making it. Halfwit has shown to be too stubborn.
-
Will have a better idea next week when the 2017 draw is released
We will be getting a very soft draw next season.
"Advantage" of finishing so low on the 2016 ladder
-
We will finish bottom 4 next year.
-
The Herald-Sun is tipping us to finish 15th next year:
Sorry, guys. This is why your team won’t play finals in the 2017 AFL season
Herald-Sun
24 October 2016
RICHMOND
Prediction: 15th Last season: 13th
Fifteenth on the ladder feels perilously low for a big club like Richmond with an under-the-pump coach in Damien Hardwick.
But when you consider they were 13th last season, lost their last game by 113 points and couldn’t hang on to Brett Deledio and Ty Vickery in the trade period, the Tigers look like a fading power.
Prestia and Josh Caddy will add strength to the midfield but it’s Richmond’s bottom four attack which needs addressing.
-----------------------------------
Predicited Finalists (not in order): Bulldogs, Sydney, GWS, Geelong, Hawthorn, Adelaide, West Coast, St Kilda
9. Melbourne
10. Port Adelaide
11. Collingwood
12. Fremantle
13. North Melbourne
14. Essendon
15. Richmond
16. Gold Coast
17. Carlton
18. Brisbane
Change from 2016 ladder: St Kilda to replace North in top 8.

Lets be honest here, you could throw a blanket over the clubs between 10-15, probably throw melbourne in that group too, bc while they have a fair bit of talent running around, they are a stuffing loser club with an arguably crapper culture than us, so they could just as easily go backwards.
Throw in externals such as draw and injuries and the clubs in this bracket could be in the mix for finals or putting the cue in the rack by rnd 12 looking for a new coach
-
Is it just me or can anyone else see Hawthorn and Geelong possibly dropping out of the 8?

Me too, I expect Norf, cats and hawks to slide, cats are a dangerfield or selwood injury away from missing the 8 imho. Hawks will struggle for the bottom reaches of the 8
