Jack or Rance go down early in the season . I don't even want to think about it .
Is this why spuds like Batchelor remain on the list ? As back up ?
Does the club think Benny Griffiths is about to explode ?
-
Same thing as if they don't go down- nothig.

This is why we probably need to get at least two of Richards, Brown, Liitherland and O'Shea as DFAs.... looks like it's actually an unusually good year for DFA's....so it will probably be the first year Moneyblair doesn't bother ...or more likely still gets at least one but still a crap one that we don't need like Kane Mitchell....

I see your point but if you look at our premiers. No ruckman, No key forward, No recognised key backman.
But I see your point and share the concern.

And will tell everyone he predicted it

What happens if a comet hits earth?
Claw will be happy
Claw would complain at earths drafting and comet selection policy because it wasn't hit by a key position comet

Bents will also claim Grigg, Chaplin, Houli> the comet.

The comet wouldn't be much chop either as it would be taller than 195cm….. :whistle

I think the comet should also be played in defence even though it is a natural forward and wear number 25, 3 or 29.

Would the comet watch the ball drop onto its foot when kicking out of defense?

So to achieve that sort of thing who else gets dropped. We have lost 5 and bought in 3. Short is a good thing to be promoted and if they want to keep Castagna they will probably have to promote him as well. We also have the nd to go will we be axing contracted players will we only use 27 and 56.

Moore, Batchelor & Lambert...word is that Butler (who I'd rather keep) is also gone, so there's four more vacancies...

So if we do two mature types in psd that leaves just two nd picks but we probably have about 5 rookie picks.
Like you i like the idea of Michael Barlow id rather him than Caddy. I have always liked litherland and i would really hope we are looking at at least one mature kpp. Imo they need to cut at least two more on top of those 4 you mentioned and thats just to be able to take 3 kids in the nd.
Sadly our nd picks go 27, 56, 82?, 100.

Hence why he said it. The real question is does he look away from the ball when he kicks it?

Will be disappointed if Butler goes.

Almost a decade under the current senior coach and regime at Richmond; we still have dreadful issues with key defenders, key forwards. We have only just now brought in a ruck prospect, an undersized 22 year old 'C Grader'. Tremendous burden placed upon the suspect Griffiths and Astbury who are each yet to find their feet at the top level...with very little in reserve. Fingers crossed it pans out ok.

They won't go down, our club will keep playing them injured and ruin them :clapping

TBH not many ruckmen are A graders at 22. Dean Cox wasn't and he turned out OK.

Everybody keeps whinging about If Rance or Jack goes down etc like any club you loose your best players there hard to replace that goes for all clubs simple.

bobby murphy and wallis says hello along with a norm smith medalist and most of their better players.
hawks lose coach, captain, and their best forward to cancer among other players through various stages throughout the past couple of years and still soldier on.
Facts are these blokes cant be replaced at the RFC because there is no depth or players are weak as pee and use it as an reason to lose (see lids)

For me it's the later players a weak and have a soft mentality as soon as going gets tuff they go in there shell and this includes our top line players Cotch,Lids when he was here to.

He did when kicking for goal outside the 50m arc earlier this year.

A sick part of me would like to see them both go down at the same time for 2-4 games so our lack of KPP depth is even more horribly exposed.
