Delicious.

No doubt it would be in his twilight years though when his hammies are absolutely shot to bits.

We might be able to get him for pick 88 in a few years time...

Got a good source on this one - same as the 'Hampson is long term injured' source which came true. And apparently they have already approached us given our 2 first rounders which they are particularly keen on.

No repsonse provided by Richmond. Id be suprised if we were interested. 29 next year. Need some young talls with 10+ years ahead

Id trade B Ellis and Maric (the Hawks love aging rucks) & throw in Houli too.

Would be nice to have 2 Rioli's in the side.

They'll want draft picks and take nothing else I'd expect. Don't have a pick till the late 30's.

A 1st and a 2nd round pick might be enough. Still leaves us with a 1st and 3rd with the 3rd being used for Naish. I would entertain it.

Trade B Ellis for another second round pick and give them that.

Waste of a pick.

We don't have a 2nd rounder this year. Gold Coast got it in the Prestia deal. We swapped 2nd rounders. We got their 2016 2nd rounder which we swapped for Caddy and they got our 2017 2nd rounder.

We have x2 1st rounders and x2 3rd rounders

Another mini clean out coming this year regardless of results or what happens with Martin, we want picks & players, no more resting on laurels or overrating of lists under Balmey.... :clapping

I'd take him for pick 98 or so as Sam Mitchell was worth pick 88 and he was their b&f winner.....

Fmd how many more smalls do we want.

Do we really need to trade away the future on a sml fwd when we have  Butler, Rioli, Bolton, Stengle, Lloyd, Edwards Castagna and you could possibly classify Short a small fwd as well though hes done well in the back half.
Fmd we should be looking to offload a few of these types ourselves.

We need to go back to the ND well our selves get as many good picks as we can the only type of player id want us to trade for atm is talls at both ends of the ground.Looking at what other clubs have done we dont need to pay a big price either.

Paddy McCartin's brother Tom looks a prospect, apparently toweled up Oscar Clavarino -who's widely touted as the best KPD prospect in the draft at this stage - the other day in the TAC Cup.

Thought their issues were related to lack of draft picks/rebuild?

Cap space should be fine - remember Mitchell and Lewis have left.

Is there anyone that would do this trade for our 2 x first rounders? lol

We'll need our first rounders if we're chasing a quality young KPF we desperately need.

Cyril is contracted until 2019. So there's no bargaining power unlike if he was a out of contract free agent. It would cost us at least a first rounder if not more. Pass!

Cyril Rioli - “I’d be up for helping clubs if they wanted me … Richmond or West Coast … but I wouldn’t go back to Hawthorn after what’s gone on. It’s the only club I wouldn’t put my hand up for right now.”

32 years old, sounds good in theory but would be blocking a young player, no for me.

Correct

He is talking about a mentoring role at the Club either player development or via KG Institute

I read the entire article. I was like this  :o reading it

Yeah talks about mentoring. Would be perfect fit with links to institute.
