bet theres just one sacrificial lamb as they will have to be seen to do something.
Would still liked to have seen the 4 changes
Ins - Miles, Maric, Markov and can live with giving Lennon a game would have prefered we try Garthwaite up fwd though.
Out - Edwards, Rioli, B Ellis, Lloyd. Butler menadue very lucky.
-
No surprises with the ins
But very much looking forward to seeing the outs, if there ends up being any :snidegrin
-
No Miles?

I actually don't mind the selection of Maric. We desperately need someone to kick it down the line to and as much as Maric can't move like he used to, he at least will give us a decent contest.
He can also help out Nank in the ruck forvshort periods.
I think with the speed of all our other small forwards that will eliminate the Carlton defenders running off big Ivan to much. I hope he can take a few grabs early as that will make Carlton pay him a bit more respect and not drop off him so to help out others.
In the first 5 weeks we had that bail out kick, even though Griff/Elton weren't doing much other than giving us a contest, and we have really missed it since then.

Totally agree
-
Old man Maric couldn't do worse than Elton .
-
Their side actually looks quite good on paper which is worrysome
-
Lucky we don't play paper!

IS Toby Nankervis in danger of missing for the Tigers?
The club has recalled veteran ruckman Ivan Maric for its clash with Carlton. Maric hasn’t played since Round 15 last year, but may be looked at as cover for Nankervis.

AFL advises Anthony Miles has replaced Ben Lennon in Richmond Rd14 squad v Carlton. Final 22 determined later today.

BEN LENNON's first sniff of senior footy in 10 weeks has been taken away at the last hurdle, with the half-forward replaced in Richmond's 25-man squad by Anthony Miles on Friday.
The Tigers announced a change to their squad two hours before squads are trimmed to 22 at 5pm AEST, suggesting Miles could now be in the mix to return for his first game since round nine.
The tough onballer has been magnificent in the VFL, regularly winning more than 30 possessions, but he hasn't been able to break into the midfield.
Lennon, meanwhile, has kicked 16 goals in his last six matches without reward at AFL level as the Tigers put their faith in a smaller fleet of goal-sneaks.
It is not yet clear if Lennon has suffered an injury, with the Tigers training on Friday morning at Punt Road Oval.

Allegedly after Lennon was selected he manifested all seven attributes of hodgekiss' seven deadly sins of narcissism.
-
Maybe Martin might not play

Was told very early he won't be playing so he told them to shove the extended interchange up their pooters
-
haha nah strained his hammy this morning at training - kids got some poo luck

Unchanged!

Talented, young forward Ben Lennon, who was named in Richmond’s 25-man squad yesterday, sustained a hamstring strain at training this morning.
As a result, the Tigers have called up tenacious midfielder Anthony Miles as an emergency for the match.

Fuckmedead no change? After surrendering a 6 goal lead? Drop one of the flea amigos!!!! They look tired!
-
They probably won't have the chance to apply much pressure with Carltons talls/mids marking everything
-
Will admit it I'm confused
-
Don't worry fellas. It's a team bellow the top 8, basically offering no threat to our top 8/top 4 chances. We will win by 8-10 goals.
-
Will admit it I'm confused
Yep early in the season we were changing a winning side, now we refuse to drop players for consistently poor showings.
Am staggered that Lloyd survives again
-
Lloyd should buy a lottery ticket along with George.Sends a poor example players continue to play poor not get dropped.

Particularly after being dropped after 1 game earlier this year
-
WTF stuff me
Well everyone must be doing a fine job then
-
Well Hardwick admitted some players were not up to AFL standard so that must be acceptable. I really hope those players got a nice old rollicking from the coaches during their individual reviews.
-
How we can have an unchanged side after that effort in the second half last week reeks of Dimma all over again from last year.
Same poo slow backwards footy as last year last week after half time.
Anyone that thinks Dimma doesn't have the final say at selection is delusional imo.
The only way to teach these kids is not to reward insipid efforts like last week.
Lloyd hasn't touched the footy for weeks, Menadue refuses to put his body on the line and a couple of our smalls have had enough chances.
It sends a really bad message imo.
2 wins in the last 7 games and barely a change in the side unless of an injury.
-

Think Lloyd may have lucked out with Lennon being a late "out"
-
Carlton have gone tall down back and we retain a small forward line. Coaching will be the key.
-
A late change?
-
oh look we will be better for it
-
Carlton have gone tall down back and we retain a small forward line. Coaching will be the key.
Not a good sign for us then. Hardwick flags changes during the week then makes no changes. Does not inspire any confidence in what he is doing.

Hope they get it in the forward line quicker than last week then before the opposition get time to set up properly
