Broad is on standby.for Grimes. Garthwaite maybe given a rest as part of managing the young players. Just my hunch.

Broad in with Grimes. Pretty tall backline but at least Grimes and Broad are versatile and Rance for that matter too

Shai Bolton should be in the AFL side of that I have no doubt. Killing it!
Corey Ellis running the game out well #silk.
All our tall forwards are in the VFL.. Marking everything today. #elton #moore #griffiths Chol has been excellent at CHB too.
Lennon? Has 4. He's been ok.
First half:
Oleg superb this [second] term. Griffiths the highlight though. Best moment in the 1st half was when Griff kicked that long bomb. Every AFL/VFL listed player went to him. A lot of spirit in this group.

Chols best game i have seen playing CHB
-
Chololololololololololol
-
So is it only the seniors who don't win by 10 goals? Or was Dimma being ultra specific in saying that we can win by less than 10 or more than 10 but not 10 exactly?
-
Report on what was a dominant display from the first bounce:
Chol played his best game from my point of view at CHB. Took a few intercept marks and used the ball very well. Took the kick in duties and didn't mss a target. Needs to continue with being aggressive and in the moment.
Markov was very good across HB. Very clean by foot and used pace to break lines running down the middle multiple times. Markov has a bright future.
Menadue coped a heavy head knock which resulted in what looked like a broken nose. Played HB and was very solid. The thing that stands out is his kicking, it's so good at set up so many chains that resulted in scores. Great runner who is above this level.
Ellis was silk today. Him Markov and Menadue set up so many pure plays because they kick the ball so well. Ellis had a hard edge today and IMO is developing nicely.
Batchelor is a general at this level and leads the backline with set ups and is very vocal. Solid game.
Maric dominated a young ruck today and set the tone physically. Looks to be enjoying playing and leading his young teammates.
Townsend was unbelievably good today and has been all year. His attack on the man and willingness to hunt is second to nne. He is using the ball better and hitting the scoreboard when resting forward. He must play AFL again this year and is a much better player this year. IMO best 22 player.
Hunt played as a mid and was in the best. It was actually a great game but not part of the future. Well done to him!
Graham was everywhere until rolling his ankle in the second. This kid will be a very solid AFL player soon as he racks up possessions and runs both ways, and also loves the contest.
Griffiths played the first half and provided a target. Kicked goals, attacked the contest and played very well. So good to see him playing again. Gave young Durdin a bath. All players got around him after he slotted a goal from 50m... great to see! We need him back IMO.
Elton was also lively and kicked some nice goals and was strong in the air. He also spent time on young Durdin and beat him in contests which is encouraging. If only he could bring this confidence into the senior team. Solid!
Lennon was fantastic today. His work ethic was huge today and is clearly a class above this level. Lennon is the perfect 3rd tall forward as he rewards great play by finishing with straight kicking. Played the last with an ankle or cork and showed great resilience. Much better option than Lloyd.
Stengel punches above his weight and i love how he is a pure footballer. Uses his body so well in contests and tackles hard and uses the ball well every time he gets it. He will have a great career as he is a footballer with so much talent.
Moore was good as a hard running HF. Kicked a goal or two and took some strong contested marks. Interesting he played the second ruck and looks ok in that role. Good size and has geat speed and aggression.
Bolton was unbelievable today. It was like watching a fast Eddie Betts...some of the things he does is incredible. Kicked a contender for goal of the year at VFL level weaving through 4 opponents to slot one from the pocket. Taps the ball to advantage and possesses an amazing leap. This is a great asset against players his size as he out leaps then all day... and his pace... wow!! Future gun of the competition.
All in all a great day at the local footy with plenty to like and some amazing talent coming through.

Conca was watching and walking fine so i assume he is back training

McRae is a very good coach. He has taken a bunch of talented kids and some not so talented and created a chemistry between them. We have had a side that has been regularly down the bottom in the VFL and now is a very competitive unit. Kudos to him. :clapping

VFL Tigers win five in-a-row
richmondfc.com.au
16 July 2017
Richmond 25.13-163 def Werribee 9.7-61
The VFL Tigers recorded their fifth consecutive victory in emphatic style on Saturday, defeating Werribee by 102 points in a clinical performance at Frankston Oval.
After an eight-goal opening term set the pace for Richmond VFL, the bombardment continued in the second quarter, while a stingy-stiff defensive display limited their Tiger namesakes to three goals by half-time.
Shai Bolton kicked five goals in his most impressive VFL performance to date, while contested-ball bull Tom Silvestro was among the best with his 35 disposals, seven tackles and two clearances.
Ben Lennon was instrumental on his return with a haul of four majors, while fellow returnee Ben Griffiths also made his mark on the contest, playing the first half of the clash and finishing with two goals.
Richmond VFL and development coach Craig McRae said his side imposed itself on various facets of the game to see off the top eight rival.
“We started the game really well, and managed eight goals in the first quarter off the back of straight kicking,” McRae said.
“But our relentless attack of the ball and the man was a real highlight. Contested possessions were rarely in their favour.
“We also managed to keep another opponent under 10 goals, so our defensive formula has been working for us.”
With both sides knowing victory in Frankston could seal a place in the top four, the match saw a cagey opening, until Werribee was rewarded for its persistence with the opening goal.
That kicked the Tigers' two dangerous small forwards into action, and moments later, the deadly duo of Bolton and Tyson Stengle had the VFL Tigers out to a four-goal lead.
Stengle was in inspired form early, nailing his first after some good build-up play with Callum Moore and Taylor Hunt, and then turned provider for Bolton, who secured the first of his haul with a trademark snap from close range.
Both small forwards then added another each, prompting some extra attention from Werribee’s reeling defensive unit.
However, this left plenty of room for Griffiths to operate in, and the returning big man lowered his eyes expertly with his first touch to hit Lennon on the chest 35 metres out.
The resulting goal from the VFL Tigers’ leading goal kicker sent the travelling Tiger faithful into raptures, and after Shaun Mannagh added his first goal at VFL level to the mix, the lead had extended to six goals by quarter time.
However, not content with taking the pressure off, the VFL Tigers maintained the intensity in the second quarter, opening up a 76-point buffer by the half-time siren.
Mabior Chol continued his impressive transition into the defensive half, recording three marks and providing pinpoint accuracy playing out of the backline.
His presence at the back was greatly aided by the midfield engine of Silvestro, Jacob Townsend and Jack Graham, who between them amassed 15 tackles to the half as they relentlessly worked back to play their part in defence.
Gaining the ascendancy in contested possessions 164-122, the sheer intensity of the performance was only topped when the returning Griffiths produced two moments of class to register his first goals for the Club since his last appearance against Sandringham in Round 2.
After being picked out by Mannagh’s pass, Griffiths made no mistake with an emphatic set shot from 55 metres out, much to the delight of both players and supporters.
He then dribbled home a second moments later, sealing a memorable impact on the contest before being rested for the second half.
He was unfortunately joined by young Tiger Jack Graham, whose suspected sprained ankle prevented him from adding to his 22 disposals, eight clearances and six tackles.
Although the VFL Tigers were slightly shorter on personnel in the second half, the quality of their performance did not waiver as they marched on to break the 100-point margin of victory for the second time this season, after their big victory over North Ballarat in Round 1.
After being kept well in the first half, Ryan Bathie finished strongly with three goals, while Brandon Wood also added his name to the eventual 12 individual goalkickers Richmond VFL would account for over the day’s proceedings.
Bolton and Lennon added one more each in the shadows of three-quarter time, before repeating the feat moments after the final term began, rounding off impressive hauls for both.
Late goals for stand-in-skipper Jacob Ballard and the ever-reliable Jacob Townsend put the cherry on top of an immense team performance, one that could see the VFL Tigers remain in the top four, pending results from other matches.
The VFL Tigers will now look to make it six consecutive wins when they face Collingwood at the Swinburne Centre, Punt Road Oval next Sunday.

So Griff and Elton are the two that can get into the team.

Just cold hard stats and no comments on player's performance this week..... :huh
When they saw T. Hunt at the top of the list they probably decided that it best they leave comments out this week, stats alone can be very deceiving as we all know.
