A stuff eye injury will keep Richmond spearhead Jack Riewoldt sidelined for at least one match as the Tigers look to consolidate their top four spot.
The Tigers said Jack suffered some bleeding behind his eye after a knock at training during the week led to a cut in the cornea of his right eye.
He will miss Saturday night's game away to Gold Coast, with Richmond saying it was too early to tell whether he would return for the following Sunday's game against Hawthorn.

Star Tiger doesn't find what he's looking for
afl.com.au
4 August 2017
STAR Richmond forward Jack Riewoldt sought a third opinion on his injured right eye in an unsuccessful bid to be declared fit for Sunday afternoon's clash with Hawthorn at the MCG.
Riewoldt, 28, missed last week's win against Gold Coast after he suffered a knock to the eye at training and needed stitches to the white part and top of his eyeball. He didn't have vision in that eye for six hours because of blood in the socket.
Tigers coach Damien Hardwick said at Punt Road on Friday morning that Riewoldt should be available for Saturday week's game against Geelong.
"He was pretty close. A couple more days and some training and he might have been available to play," Hardwick said.
"It's a pretty delicate area of the body that we're really wanting to make sure we look after.
"Not only went to one doctor, he went to two, then he was looking for a third to try and get the response he was after.
"That's how desperate he was to play. He's an important player for us, so we didn't want to risk any further damage. Should be available to play next week."
The risk of Riewoldt being injured again was too great for him to play, despite his desperation to face the Hawks.
"It's more to do with the amount of pressure that goes through the eye that would increase the bleeding. It's a pretty easy decision really from the medico's point of view," Hardwick said.
Hawthorn will pose a tough test for the fourth-placed Tigers. Alastair Clarkson's men started the season 0-4, but despite a heavy injury toll, with defenders James Frawley, Grant Birchall and Josh Gibson among those having spent significant time on the sidelines, they are back in the finals race.
Last Friday's six-point victory against Sydney left them one-and-a-half games behind West Coast, which is eighth.
"They're back to their best," Hardwick said.
"Offensively they're controlling the ball really well. I think the area that's probably escaping a lot of people is defensively they're doing some stuff that is elite. We showed our boys some vision this morning of how well they're doing that and controlling the ball as well."
Clarkson has revamped his backline, with regular forwards Jack Gunston and James Sicily among those having switched ends of the ground. Their intercepting prowess will be a key area for the Tigers to stop.
Richmond will keep working on hitting its forwards to help nullify that threat.
"The one thing we've done really well this year, I think we're AFL (ranked) four with inside-50 entries, which gives us enough supply," Hardwick said.
"We've just got to make sure we've got our connection inside 50 a lot better. That's probably the area that we are still working on. We have got a relatively young and inexperienced forward six, so they're still taking some time to become accustomed to how we move and how we play the game."

Have heard it wasn't Chol but Prestia but the club have covered it up with a scapegoat in Chol as they don't want any pressure on Prestia given his high price tag and poor output

I hope it was Prestia.
Means he might be starting to hit few targets.

Worse than first though. Injury might be career ending. Stand by for news on bad infection and complications after surgery.
I'm waiting for more terrible news. It's the Richmond way.

Jack Riewoldt set to return to training this week in bid to face Geelong on Saturday
RUSSELL GOULD,
Herald Sun
August 6, 2017
INJURED spearhead Jack Riewoldt is expected to be back training on Monday in preparation for next week’s blockbuster clash with Geelong.
Richmond assistant coach Justin Leppitsch put to bed any suggestion the Tiger forward’s eye injury was worse than the club was letting on.
Riewoldt missed the win over the Gold Coast last week and was also ruled out of today’s clash with Hawthorn after needing stitches to the white of his eye following a training accident.
Leppitsch conceded Riewoldt had been limited in his ability to train because of the nature of the injury and couldn’t run much to avoid too much movement of his eye.
But should he be able to get enough work in this week, Leppitsch expects Riewoldt to run out against the Cats at Skilled Stadium on Saturday.
“He just didn’t quite make it unfortunately and it’s one of those things if you have to go back for a second operation it could be even longer again. We were very mindful of not getting it wrong the first time. We had to be very cautious,” Leppitsch said.
“He wasn’t able to do a lot because of the shaking motion. He’ll start to pick up his work rate up as of Monday and we’re very confident if he can get a full week of training in, then he’ll play.”
Riewoldt was so desperate to play today that he tried to visit three eye specialists on Friday in search of the all clear. But he was told to rest.
He said he initially feared the eye had popped out of its socket.
“It was like the last drill on Thursday night training and I went to pick up the ball from the ground when someone came from the other direction, missed the ball and poked me straight in the eye,” Riewoldt said on Fox Footy’s AFL 360.
“My first initial thought was that my eye had popped out.
“So I put my hand over my eye, looked down and had a pool of blood in my palm and half expected to see my eye sitting in my hand.”
Riewoldt, 28, said “a cloudy film of blood” blocked his vision for six hours.
