Pretty ordinary. Not very gracious.
Stick to trying to look scary in a straight line captain of the year .
-
i actually just texted my mate about how pathetic both he and pyke speeches were, when compared with the cowboys in the NRL GF.

Spot on
Gav Cooper's speech (Nth Qld Capt) was brilliant
-
LMAO at Walker
Terrible speech, a lot of that falls back to their media guys too
He would have been shattered but still poor for him too
-
I stuffing loved it.
Like a little squeak when you stomp on a mouse.
Heartbreak all over his ugly face.
Spit it out and F off already so we can get my boys up there!!

Hahah yessss Andy
-
Just a poor old dumb prick who was made captain.
-
Did Tex play?
-
What a useless wing nut.
-
Can't remember it. Any way to watch it?

The Crows were shell-shocked. If you read Adelaide papers and Crows forums, they all had the champagne on ice expecting a repeat of round 6. Rucci in the Adelaide Advertiser was calling them the "perfect team" .... oops! :lol
It was interesting at half-time during the Ch7 coverage, that the word out of our rooms was that Adelaide players were already arguing with each other and finger pointing despite still being only 9 pts down at that stage. We felt confident we'd go on with it during the second half because the Crows had lost their "team connection".

I remember the moment where Vlas(?) gave a free to Walker in the centre of the ground and an Adelaide player (Atkins?) took the advantage only to be run down straight away and give away holding the ball. Walker turned, pointed the finger and blasted his teammate. It was stuffing glorious!
-
On another point. How hilarious is it that Walker chose to kick into the breeze :lol. They were obviously overly concerned with what Richmond would be doing. Staring us down and waiting for us to move first, sending players to sit on our players (Cotchin, Rance), kicking into the wind I assume to negate us going to the Punt Road end in the last quarter. They were mentally weak and their pathetic captain was the epitome of it.
-
A team in arms to me looks more unified than a line of individuals looking like a bunch of tools. Thought they played like a bunch of individuals too. Walker sounded a little offended during the parade that the red carpet wasn't rolled out for them. They also looked far more wound up at the start of the game. Didn't even get a chance to strut around like a peacock as he normally does.

Trying to find a clip as well, or I can watch the entire replay again lo

This....but not unexpected from the poo bloke he is :gotigers

If they spent as much time focusing on the game as they did on the theatrics they might of given a yelp lol

Don't dismiss why Rucci made those comments MT. He is a big time port supporter through and through and I think it was a nice little peace to get into those big heads of Tex and co, making them think they would win the cup with ease
-
Who cares!
From a Richmond perspective it was great love the bitter saltiness.
F the crows and their stupid rubbish
actually f them all
2017 Premiers baby
-
Whateley on abc before: "Brevity was the only box it ticked"
:rollin
-
Like a spoilt kid who didn't get what he wanted, showed him up to be the type of person I thought he is, suck it up Tex :snidegrin
-
As the song goes...
He was a big man yesterday but boy you want to see me now...
-
My mate and I said in the lead up to the game then during the game that the crows were too serious were the tigers were quite jovial and happy. Even in the rooms at half time they were laughing and joking around.
That made a big difference once we started to get on top. The pressure the crows had on themselves to win was too much it seems.
It was glorious.........

An article popped up for me that has the vision and compares it to that NRL bloke

Because we were linked about a third of their team was staring straight ahead at nothing, looked lost before they started the gooses
-
Nothing wrong with his speech. He was disappointed and understandably so. His club and himself had just failed miserably on the biggest stage of all

Apparently there is a photo around of Richmond players drinking premiership beers in a Tex Walker nuffy stance? Anyone seen/got it?

I agree. To me, it seemed the Crows did everything off field that they could to try to upset us, but they forgot that games of footy have to be played. At the ground, I got the impression they were just waiting for it to happen.
I was at the GF parade, and Walker made a twit of himself when he and Cotchin had to hold the premiership cup up for the crowd. Not sure if there is any footage of it, but Walker looks like he is trying to intimidate Cotchin by moving the cup towards the crows when the skippers were to but it back on the podium. Cothcin didn't let him, then turned to his own players and basically said WTF? The Tigers players laughed, and Walker looked an absolute idiot.

I'm more interested in the other photo supposedly going around

Broadly speaking, I'd take those premiership cans over that Carlton Draught swill.... :shh

Both probably dont want to be seen playing with such a big pussy
-
Tex Walkers speech degraded his family, his team, the Crows fans, 2 coaches who have passed away, the AFL, all teams in the AFL.
The only positive is that he confirmed himself as the biggest knob in Australia.
-
....also shamed his church, his country, the flag, his ancestors, the queen, the anzacs and the freedoms & principles they all fought and died for....
-
walker is the epitome of that whole douchebag, showboat-esque SA/Adelaide culture.
you could sense the same douchebag entitlement of the crows supporters at the game.
no wonder players from non- SA states like Cameron and Lever want out.
-
....also shamed his church, his country, the flag, his ancestors, the queen, the anzacs and the freedoms & principles they all fought and died for....
And don't forget the gay marriage plebiscite

The dopey poo pirate just needs to look in the mirror
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-08-29/tex-wants-answers-from-unhappy-mcgovern
ADELAIDE captain Taylor Walker says he has no idea why Mitch McGovern wants a trade to a rival club.
And Walker has confirmed the departures of assistant coaches Josh Francou, after serving just one year of a three-year contract, and Tate Kaesler.
Walker will speak to McGovern to find out why he wants to break his contract with the Crows - he signed a three-year contract extension at the end of last season.
"I don't know ... and that is something that I would like to find out," Walker told Triple M radio on Wednesday.
"It's disappointing that we lose a quality player and a quality fella.
"I do take it personally but I have learnt in my 11 years (in the AFL system) that it's just the caper we're in."
-
If people are saying there is a problem but you cannot see the problem...then the problem is probably you.
