Title: Best quarters
Post by: mightytiges on March 09, 2006, 04:20:31 AM
How good was that second quarter comeback against Port last year at the Dome! 28 points down midway through then 5 goals to us in no time to grab the lead before half-time with that speccie and goal from the big fella.

Saw on BF you can access the games again and watched it again last night. Great stuff  :thumbsup.

Yes that was a great game - for more reasons than one.  I also liked Mark Graham's last game when we were 20 points down in the time-on part of the last quarter and got up to win by 4 points.

i forget what yr and what round, but we played the roos under lights where they normally smash us but we came out in teh first quarter and polaxed them, kicked a bag, daffy was on fire, gale , edwards the whole team just hit the ball hard as we did under northey. flogging the roos underlights was , a bruce maccas speciaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal moment

I think the game you speak of X, was in 1995

I actually have that Port Game on DVD - I've played it a few times over the summer.

Also think the final quarter of the round 17 game in 2001 against the Doggies was pretty speciaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllll. ;D
