Houli and possibly Prestia available (?).

Fire away with your changes, if any?

We need a "like" button.

Cellis - Houli
I reckon that will be it. Doubt Prestia gets up.

Thought Bolton was OK. Early he struggled with the tempo. Seems fixated with taking mark of the century  :lol

Dont think Prestia will be ready. Hope he is because i was really disappointed with Conca & CEllis, and would drop both. But if Prestia doesn't come up Conca stays me thinks

Huge difference between chasing and actually laying a tackle
Tackles zero

Running around like a headless chook and wanting to take mark of the century at every opportunity isn’t good

Needs to work on his hunched knees posture, is way off the mark at the moment

Agree with this - think he deserves another crack, wonder if the Crows game is the right option tho

No change for mine. Houli will need a run before playing as its been weeks since his last outing.

Not entertaining he gets dropped but Vlastuin was putrid last night :thumbsdown

Concs went alright despite what some are saying, but don't worry he will be injured in time for someone else soon.
We were either blowing out some cobwebs, messing with em or cruising it in so we were in good nick for the 'rematch' next week with the crowbot transformers.

You might even say he was vibrant.

Didn't kick a goal, didn't lay a tackle, what did he do to deserve a gig next week?

Need to just keep pumping games in to Bolton....most understood - bar one or two noted serial flogs with nfi- when we did the same with Rioli..... :shh

I agree. He might not be the answer, but he deserves some credit for playing a reasonable game last night. I thought his vision was quite good.

I thought that both B.Ellis and McIntosh had far worse games.

How long are Walker, Lynch and Crouch our for? Douglas has been suspended so that’s another down for them.

Adelaide are hopeful of regaining Walker and Lynch to face the Tigers with the pair set to train on Saturday.

Crouch is out for a while with a groin injury.

Houli and Prestia in C. Ellis and Short out
I don't say it to often, but the Conk had a fair game, not super influential, but noticeable.

I think he has to stay in the squad just to be given the chance to take that mark too, and I reckon he will take more than one as well!

Short was one of our best no way he goes out.Don't see what people see in Conca I see more bad then good just turnovers and poor decisions.

I’m amazed that some think Conca had a reasonable game. He was pretty crap.

I’d like to see him dropped for Menadue.

Herald-Sun's Barometer - Round 2

ON THE BLOCK: Shai Bolton did some nice things but was quiet overall against the Blues. However, with Daniel Rioli still sidelined expect him to get more opportunity. Corey Ellis worked hard but could make way for a Bachar Houli return.

ON THE CUSP: The Tigers’ top draft pick from last year Jack Higgins kicked three goals in a VFL practice match last week while rookie Liam Baker (two goals) also shone brightly.

CHRIS CAVANAGH’S FORECAST:
A big Grand Final rematch against the Crows at Adelaide Oval on Thursday night which the Tigers are outsiders for. Houli and Dion Prestia were close to playing last week and should be big inclusions against an undermanned Adelaide. Captain Trent Cotchin spent the night in hospital with a migraine but is expected to play his 200th game this week after he was released on Monday morning.

Meanwhile, defender Bachar Houli is firming as an inclusion this week after missing the Tigers' round one win over Carlton with a calf injury.

However, forward Dion Prestia is likely to build fitness in the Tigers' final VFL practice match on Friday against Box Hill after missing a chunk of the pre-season with a hamstring complaint.

After watching the replay many times from last week
What about Soldo in for Bolton ?
Considering the talls the Crows will play
Blues worked us over last week when Grigg had to go into ruck ?

I'd rather Balta for Bolton if he had to go. The guy is going to be a gun.

In the mix: round two

RICHMOND[/b]

Get them in:
Bachar Houli will play after missing round one with a calf issue, while Dion Prestia is rated a chance to return from a pre-season hamstring problem.

Under the pump:
Reece Conca had 16 touches against the Blues and made a few mistakes, Corey Ellis didn't set the world on fire with 12 but he did contribute the second most one-percenters for the team, so he might hang on. Shai Bolton cramped late in the game after just six disposals.

Medical room: The Tigers don't have many on their injury list, although Trent Cotchin's Sunday night trip to hospital to seek treatment for a migraine would have had a few worried. The captain and Houli have been deemed fit to play, while Prestia needs to press his case at training. Shaun Hampson and Nathan Drummond are set to resume in a VFL practice match this Friday after long lay-offs.

Verdict:
With Houli set to play, either Conca or Corey Ellis appear the logical omissions. Prestia will play in the VFL practice match and be available next week if he gets through. Sam Lloyd was held over from last week's VFL hit-out and is available if they want to add another midfielder to the mix, while a Jack Higgins debut isn't far away.
