Giants and Power can challenge Tigers says Harvey
By SEN
20 July 2018
AFL games record holder Brent Harvey says Greater Western Sydney and Port Adelaide are the two teams equipped to challenge Richmond.
Both sides have defeated the Tigers this season, and Harvey believes they could do it again on the biggest stage.
“These are the two teams that I think, if they get there, can beat Richmond and that’s the Giants and Port Adelaide,” he told SEN Afternoons.
“For a couple of reasons. We have seen the Giants beat Richmond last week without Jeremy Cameron. I know Richmond had a couple of outs as well, but they play a quick brand of football.
“Port Adelaide’s whole philosophy on football is get the ball moving, go quick.
“We know they get their half forwards up the ground and they stream back towards goal.
“These are the two teams that can really have a crack at the big one.”
