Anyone nervous?
Will the Hawks forward line give us some awkward match ups with Breust, Poopolo and Gunston?
How effectively will our inside 50’s work if we bomb it high where Sicily, Stratton and Frawley can control the air?
Does them having 11 of their 2015 premiership team playing raise a twinge if doubt.
I watched the GF during the week, if we can bring that intensity on Thursday night, I cannot see them winning or even getting close.
But I’m a little fractious in the gates after the last month in the h and a

We are better than them and will win by 7-8 goals. Easy.
I believe we will win easily as long as we play the footy that we know we should play.
But even if we don’t (like last week) I think we still win easily (2-3 goals) like last time we played them.
We have the best defence in the competition. We have the current Coleman medalist our forwards are far superior. We have 4 all Australians. We have better continuity with all our players and a connection that is unsurpassed. We have the best full back since the full back of the century. We have some young guns that have instilled some youthful exuberance this season. We have the best captain in the competition and our coaching brainstrust have just delivered us our best season in more than 30 years.
And if that doesn’t convince you.............
.......we have Dusty!

But they have AFL headquarters and the umpires.

I'm getting a little nervous, but would be genuinely embarrassed if we lost to a couple of past it stars and a bunch of no name kids.

It's a QF final of course I'm nervous, that said I would be very surprised if we lost to the Hawks
As confidant as I can be we will do em over

I watched last year's QF win over Geelong last night for a pre-finals footy fix. We should win tonight if we bring that high pressure footy of ours again. Hawks will either try to slow the game down and control possession via short footpasses or do what other clubs have tried recently and take the high risk long kick into the corridor. The former will try to counter our tackling pressure and speed on the outside, while the latter will try to bypass our forward press. We should be too quick for them if they go the first method (as long as we don't get smashed in centre clearances), and if we bring the tackling pressure we can deliver then that should create forward-half turnovers for us if the Hawks try the second method.

Im only nervous because of who has been named in the umpires. We are going to get reamed tonight from the umpires. Its going to be 22 vs 25 so we need to bring our best to beat the advantage Hawthorn will have.
