ESSENDON will borrow facets of Richmond’s premiership-winning defensive style as the Bombers tinker with their game plan after another failed season.
Over summer they secured elite assistant coach Ben Rutten, who spent four seasons at Richmond marshalling a defence that gave up only 71.5 points per game in the 2018 home-and-away season (ranked No.2).
