Hi
Who from the offloaded players we disposed of would be handy about now?
Lloyd?
Miles?
C.Ellis?
R.Conca?
Anyone else I've missed?
Truth is, no one could've predicted the start to the season we've had so far.
Think Lloyd and Miles myself but would like to hear your thoughts.
Cheers

The trouble is not depth. I'd rather play youth and fast track their progress than play guys who cannot cover the likes of Rance, Riewoldt, Grimes, Cotchin and Martin..... :shh
No depth player can cover those guys....

This guy

Yeah I don’t think the likes of Conca, Lloyd and Miles would have made much difference to the results so far.
-
Yeah, I agree.
But let's not underestimate the importance of those guys + CEllis dominating the 2's every week and keeping blokes in the ones on their toes.
Now we've got blokes getting 18 disposals in the VFL being talked up as godly figures by Claw.
-
RCD with his 11 VFL touches asnd zero tank will get us back on track.... :shh

Was that from one quarter by any chance?
-
Yes one quarter of a quarter of a season.... :shh
-
Senior players are letting the team down to many of them. There are youngsters playing well in vfl depth is not the issue.
-
In short, no, we aren't missing any of them.

Yeah, I agree.

Lmfao at the stupidity.
So ive called for Ross for Grigg , Stack for Ellis , Garthwaite for Grimes , Moore for Riewoldt , Balta for Rance , Bolton for Butler and RC-D for Caddy to be played and you think they dont deserve a go.
RC-D was the only stretch but id rather see us get a few games into him instead of recycled hacks like Weller.
Keep trying bud your stupidity is golden.I know one day the penny will drop and things will become clearer for you.

Grigg is injured, hasn't played.
Ellis and Stack just played together so Stack can't come in for him :huh
Garthwaite for Grimes was obvious. No issue there.
Moore for Riewoldt? Yeah, that is justified as Moore is playing good footy in the 2's.
Balta for Rance? They played in the same side R1 so Balta could literally never come into the side to replace him. Weird.
RCD for Caddy? Caddy hasn't been in the side and RCD doesn't deserve a game right now.
Bolton for Butler - I'd love to see Bolton in the side but he's not a forward pocket, so there's no like for like replacement there. Baker is
the one who should replace Butler.
My point was that last year we had 4-5 guys who would constantly dominate the reserves which put pressure on our bottom 6 to perform at AFL level. Right now we don't have anyone absolutely banging the door down to get into the side. Sure, we have some blokes playing decent footy and a few of them deserve a go...but like I said, it's not quite the same as previous years.
I agree that just about all of those names you mentioned should be getting a run over Weller. I don't want to see Mav getting another senior game if what he dished up the first 2 weeks is what we're gonna see on a regular basis.
You've missed the point entirely but cheers for the abuse :thumbsup

lol crying about abuse.
How about a bit of context here.
When Rance was hurt i called for Balta to play chb i had him in the starting 22 first game in the back half.
When Riewoldt got hurt i called for Moore to take his spot
Grimes gets suspended i asked for Garthwite
Caddy being out ive all along asked for RC-D to play his fwd role with short stints in the middle if possible. Yep that one is a stretch.
Stack with good form for Houli
Anyone for Ellis is still my mantra.
Ross since jlt playing on a wing for Grigg and so on with each new injury and each pooe performance. but hey your not interested in context you just want to play the man.

8. The narrative about the Tigers' lack of depth is dead

Tom Lynch in, Richmond's depth out. That's how the story went, didn't it? Fringe Tigers Reece Conca, Corey Ellis, Sam Lloyd, Anthony Miles and Tyson Stengle all departed for rival clubs in last year's NAB AFL Trade Period. Richmond's charmed injury run subsequently ended in the early rounds of this year, with Alex Rance, Jack Riewoldt, Trent Cotchin, Bachar Houli and Shaun Grigg all going down and Dustin Martin missing a game through suspension. Those setbacks came with the Tigers wobbling with two losses through three rounds. Their fans needn't have worried. No-name replacements Jack Ross, Sydney Stack, Liam Baker, Shai Bolton and Noah Balta slotted in seamlessly to perform key roles in back-to-back victories over Port Adelaide and Sydney. As Damien Hardwick said: "(Our recruiting team does) a wonderful job and they've got a really good idea of what makes a Richmond player."
