Floss 11 intercept possies
Houli 11
Astbury 9
Grimes 8

Defence again were excellent. He’s not listed there but I think broady has been awesome since he’s come back from the vfl.

Yeah I gave him a serve on one of the topics coz he was playing some janky garbage footy for a while but he has really come back and tightened it up.

Broad has gone to the next level we knew he would need to do this year to keep his spot. I always had my doubts about his long-term ability given his medium height, thin waist and suspect foot skills but he really is a hard and rough man and has worked on his aerial ability which has because a feature of his game lately. Really allows Floss to roll off more too

Why isn’t there a medal for the best defender in the AFL like the forwards?

Rance would’ve won 5 by now and grimes would be favourite for this years medal.
