I'd be surprised if it was Ross or Pickett given both would be underdone for AFL level.
Both Nank and Chol are named on the extended bench yet neither named in the VFL squad. There's no guarantee Nank will even play given it's going to be another wet slog.

Big ins for the scraggers
-
They will lift as they usually do against us, we need to be fully focused on this game or we could be in a spot of bother.
-
Pretty disrespectful to Naish, Egg and co to name Ross & Pickett after limited minute's.
Either that or they rate them extremely highly.

The latter

Ross was so impressive before he got injured.
-
Extremely interesting ins.
Excited to see what the team looks like if not this week then in the next week or 2.
-
Yeah Ross was tearing it up gee people got short memories... Naish and Egg will come up in good order.
-
Carlton will want to “shape the 8” and after years of us having the wood on them they will get a lot of satisfaction knocking us out of top 4. All remaining games are massive danger games/8 point games/must win games
-
They can't make the 8 but they sure can shape 8!

Tigers go big for Blues, set skipper for Eagles

RUCKMAN Toby Nankervis is a certain starter for Richmond's clash with Carlton on Sunday as the Tigers eye a return for captain Trent Cotchin next week.
Nankervis will join rising star contender Sydney Stack in resuming against the Blues at the MCG, with the Tigers looking to extend their winning streak to seven.
Hardwick stopped short of confirming a debut for Marlion Pickett, with the mid-season draftee added to the squad to face the Blues after just one VFL match.
"He looked a player last week at VFL level, just did some things (where) you look at him and go 'Gee this kid can play'," Hardwick said.
"We haven't trained this week so we're not quite sure how the side's going to line up at this stage, he's probably a small chance of playing."
Nankervis will play his first match since round eight following an adductor injury, Hardwick hinting that the premiership big man could pair with incumbent ruckman Ivan Soldo on Sunday.
"That's a decision we'll make this afternoon," he said.
"We've got the three big boys in the squad (Nankervis, Soldo and Mabior Chol) and I think it will eventually come down to a ruck by committee.
"At some stages we'll go with 'Mabes', other stages we'll go with 'Nank' and other stages we'll go with Soldo. Two of the three will probably play from here on in."
With two confirmed changes, the Tigers will be forced to drop a second player after out-of-contract small forward Dan Butler was dumped after just one match back.
Kamdyn McIntosh and Jack Ross joined Stack, Nankervis and Pickett in the squad.

Soldo stiff but I think this is the right way to go.
I'm hoping we belt the F out of them and detail the teague2020 train

Dusty out
Ross in
-
General soreness?
-
Out with soreness
-
I saw that on Instagram also. Not a bad idea resting him. The midfield will need to lift to cover his absence but Ross is a good kid. Kinda a clone of dusty in many ways
-
soreness? where?
-
Dustin Martin has been ruled out of Sunday afternoon’s match with Carlton at the MCG, with promising youngster Jack Ross coming in to take his place.
Martin will miss the clash with soreness.
Ryan Garthwaite will replace Ross as an emergency for the match.

There goes the top 4.... :facepalm

We better not lose this one / I’m not one to gloat but we’ve had a great run of wins against the cheats they are so bloody arrogant I even seem to cop it when they are only competitive let alone the crap I cop when they use to beat us (I’m not even going to mention ‘13 which I’m not over yet)
Unlike those idiots I don’t carry on like we’ve just won the premiership when we win but I do thoroughly enjoy the wins against them a lot more than beating any other team.
That’s the reason the losses hurt so much more when it’s against those bloody cheating scum.
We better not lose. It’s really a major carry on with so many extended family members it’s not funny.
I really hope it buckets down. 10 goal win will be awesome.
-
I'm officially pressing the panic button.
-
We will win and win easy.
-
Big period coming up so I’m happy they are resting Dusty.
I think this year has shown more than anything else, we are not a one (or few) man side.
Ross comes in but the reality is we have about 8 players than rotate through the middle.
I love seeing the likes of Bolton, Stack, Edwards, Graham and even George rotating through the centre- it makes us unpredictable to the opposition and makes them change their usual set ups/match ups.
I think this will play a massive part from here on in this year.
We really are a completely different side to that of 2017.
And I still think our best footy is in front of us
-
General soreness?
Yep.
According to The Age:
Richmond have given Dustin Martin the chance to freshen up ahead of the finals, withdrawing him from the match against Carlton with general soreness.
The Tigers' star has missed just one game this season and has been returning to vintage form in recent weeks however the resilient 28-year-old has carried a heavy load throughout the season.

Gotta love when we don’t even have to have our best player on the paddock and can afford the luxury to rest him
-
McIntosh is the carry-over 23rd man.
