Pickett hasnt done anything to warrant selection. Needs to have a couple of 30+ possession games
In a row in the reserves and then maybe.

...or he just needs to be better than Shorty McTurnover ..which isn't that hard... :shh

All players who took part in the Round 23 AFL game are ineligible for the VFL finals.
The Tigers VFL side had a bye last weekend so it will be a critical hitout for the club’s depth players including Ryan Garthwaite, Mabior Chol, Jacob Townsend, Patrick Naish and Connor Menadue.

What kind of stupid rule is that? So any player dropped after round 23 can’t work their way back into the team? Surely that rule should only apply to teams which their seniors didn’t qualify for finals.

Star Tiger may get limited VFL minutes as doubts linger ahead of finals

RICHMOND ruckman Toby Nankervis is far from certain to play VFL this weekend, let alone make his way back to the AFL side for next week's qualifying final against Brisbane.
Nankervis is struggling with soreness after making a comeback from an 11-week adductor injury.
The 25-year-old played three matches in the VFL, gradually increasing his playing load, before making his AFL comeback against Carlton in round 21.
After pulling up sore, he has since spent the past two weeks on the sidelines and is aiming to play in Richmond's VFL final against Essendon on Saturday.
"He has to get through training this week. If he does, we expect him to play some minutes," Richmond VFL coach Craig McRae told AFL.com.au.
"I would think he'd play some form of restricted minutes. I haven't got any guidance around it yet. According to our fitness staff, if he gets through training this week then we'll make a decision on Thursday (about selection)."
McRae indicated premiership player Kamdyn McIntosh will slot back into his customary winger role after several weeks in defence attempting to build versatility into his game.
"There were opportunities for him to potentially play that role at AFL level, but I think now the finals have started, we may see him back playing in his normal wing form.
"We want to get him in as best form as possible to grab opportunities as they present."
