He is a fine specimen of a man. Hopefully he gets the gig.
 
It's becoming almost a Stawell gift type of event by allowing amateur players outside the league to run in it
I'd prefer if it was AFL clubs only, I'm a traditionalist in this area, such a traditionalist actually that if I was Gil I would make the sprint VFL clubs only with the teams competing on the day not nominating anyone.

Balta got through to the final. He finished in the top 4 of the first heat. He was in second place behind the Geelong runner for most of the way.

Ben King won it from the Suns.

Balta looked like he finished around 3rd in a photo finish.
