Watching the GF '17 replay this morning so feeling a mix of emotion, nerves, confidence and pride in what the club has done for us.

If we are our prepared from the beginning of the game to bring that pressure, intensity and harassment at the ball carrier and force turnover and we are prepared to run and spread, as we’ve seen, our system will stack up against any other game style and will prevail. It’s a finals winning game plan.
I’m confident in our system I’m confident in our players and I’m confident in our coach.

You never know in footy but the facts are that we’ve been the best team in the last three years.

Post by: wayne on September 28, 2019, 08:27:13 AM: Nervous and not overly confident, 2017 I had a nothing to lose attitude, no-one was supposed to beat the Crows, 2019 I've been nervous all week, worried about our slow starts and GWS's full head of steam.

Hope it's put to bed by half-time and it's a massacre.

It's the classic game of a team of champions vs a champion team. The champion team is us and we should get up but if GWS put it together on the day we could in trouble with the sheer talent on thier list.

Will be watching with my Tiger parents. I will make sure we all sit in the same spots as 2017.

Light breakfast, then off to a wedding at 11 am (kid you not)

Then quick trip to home to change and then off to the MCG

Whatever happens, happens and whatever the result mighty proud of this Club for what it has achieved this season

This sure beats the 30+ years of nothingness we had

16 other teams would love to be where we are today

So enjoy it I say

Think today will be handsome victory though.

Post by: mightytiges on September 28, 2019, 01:31:29 PM: Nervous - about the start. Hope we turn up to play with our A-game from the first bounce. We don't want a Prelim 2018 situation where we are off and start poorly. Not the day for complacency :P.

Quietly confident - if we are playing our best footy bringing that team pressure, intensity and footy smarts, at least with them on the scoreboard by half-time and ahead of them by 3/4 time.
