Id be keen to get peoples stuff and thoughts on who we should delist or trade know the season is over.
Grigg retired
Ellis GC
Buttler ??????
Would we look at players to off load like Moore /Menadue not sure they have much currency thu
-
Towner I reckon
-
Trade, or delist if no suitor:
Townsend
Markov
Menadue
Moore
Another year on minimal $$$ or delist if not improving
Garthwaite
Another 1-2 years on minimal $$$ or delist if not improving
Miller
-
What Andy said although I'd keep our rookie Moore
-
yeah good call reckon Towner on the rookie list if anything cant see him breaking into the side know

Towner was on the rookie list this year
-
Towner had his moment, will never be forgotten but time to move on.
I still think Menadue has something to offer.
-
Keep Garthwaite let him develop as Astburys replacement for a year or two more.
-
I would trade/FA the following
Bellis (pick 20 hopefully) Butler (pick 40 odd)
And trade or if not delist the following
Menadue, Townsend, Moore, Aarts
And Retired
Weller
So 7 list changes

I personally wonder where CCJ sits in all this.
He’d have some real value at the moment and realistically is well down the pecking order as either ruckman or tall forward.
-
CCJ shouldnt be traded at least not this year. His ability to clunk a mark and general agility means he has a role.
-
CCJ be hard to see him getting a game hope he can if required just looks like he could be another player like moore good 2s player when we have a lot of same type players hard to break in

CCJ is 200 cm and only 20 years old. A keeper for me.
:thumbsup

You have to be joking thinking we should trade CCJ. No way. He is good enough to force his way in front of Nank and Soldo. If you are looking at trading anyone of the rucks it would be Nank. But I am for keeping them all at the moment
-
Not one player, we won the GF n the 1st and the 2s, all our players have value imho

He's a 20 year old ruckman. How many of those have cut up the twos? Please name them.
-
fair call im not saying delist him or anything im just saying he is a fair way off the AFL standard clearly we need to get another ruckman as tank might be done in 2-3 years and ivan can't be no 1 ruckman and chol is ok but he cant be a second option either I feel

CCJ will be a stuff :shh

A lot of us haven’t Taz. The essence of the point made though is fair enough. I suggested similar on another thread. CCJ is behind a number of other players, and while I do think he can be a player for us long time, and that the club will take that view, CCJ himself might not be happy with that. I think he will have a few suitors around the league soon who will offer more opportunity and probably more money. That will be hard to resist unless we get some league games into him.

CCJ is an extremely talented player who has the capacity to become another Lynch with the additional bonus of having ruck capabilities. I would highly recommend anyone to go and watch VFL games next year to see the next young stars as we have plenty :shh

Imagine he and Lynch up forward.OMG
-
CCJ should not be traded under any circumstances. Going to be a very nice player for the RFC going forward.
-
A poster on BF said his brother spoke to CCJ a few weeks ago and he said he was considering going back to Adelaide in the future because of lack of senior opportunity.... :shh
We must sign him up long term to at least get value on a trade if that happens.....
-
Hard to believe second year player KP played his first game this year to.
-
The Herald-Sun says this would be our "dream" trade period result:
Richmond
After two of the last three premierships, Richmond avoids having its depth raided again. Connor Menadue and Kamdyn McIntosh are still at the club at the end of trade period after being linked with moves west. The Tigers almost seem resigned to Dan Butler joining Carlton, but if they hold most of the AFL talent which featured in their VFL flag they will have done very well.

KP?

Crows sniffing around CCJ :shh
-
CCJ will be a star but as I said, would do it for their first if it helped get us GC's pick 2 and Anderson...which from what's been said about their freindship, would also help us get Rowell down the line... :shh
-
CCJ contracted for 2 years, end of 21. Not going anywhere
By that stage he could be our NO 1 ruck.
As dio said if the crows want him cough up no 1 or stfu you bunch of fgts
-
This bloke will be a star, shows more that most ruckman his age
Could also be a future captain
I Wouldn’t let him go for a first rounder
-
future captain massive call mate massive call

Young duo Jake Aarts and Derek Eggmolesse-Smith will be retained at Punt Road, but premiership player Jacob Townsend looks unlikely to remain at the club. Callum Moore is still waiting to learn his fate.
